Mission Marathon!! [Solo]
- Mission 1:
Name: Domestic Dispute
Rank: C-Rank
Location: Any Village
Reward: 100 exp, 200 ryo, 400 word count
Description: A couple has been arguing constantly at one another. Go and settle this dispute before they disturb the whole village. Be careful, both individuals are likely to get violent.
Shizune woke at a normal time for herself, 0300. She rolled out of bed and made her way to the kitchen to begin making breakfast. While said food was on the stove cooking she ran through the shower and got dressed. Once she was done, she made her way back to the kitchen and ate her breakfast. Once she was finished, she started with her morning workout routine. It was rather extensive, but she had built herself up to this point over many years of strenuous work. Once she was finished with that, it was an acceptable time to go hunting for some missions.
She had gained a bit of experience and as such, it wouldn't be crazy to think she could take on missions of a more difficult nature. She made her way out the door and quickly over to the mission tower. Once inside she greeted the Chuunin who was in charge of handing out missions. then grabbed the first scroll and made her way out of the building. It was her mission to settle some form of dispute between a couple in the civilian district. It would be easy to simply kill them both, or knock some sense into each of them. Once she arrived to the apartment, she found two people yelling. A man and a woman, standing out on the porch on the third floor of the building yelling loudly, she could understand why it got on neighbors nerves.
She leapt up onto the railing, balancing with ease between the couple. They looked at her angrily before they continued to argue like she wasn't even there. She growled and released killing intent. It was something beyond what they could handle and they got quiet and looked at her with fear in their eyes. "You will either resolve your issue or you will argue quietly from inside the building." They quickly got over their fear before reacting in rage to this kid telling them what to do. Shizune jumped over the man trying to grab her and kicked the woman in the face. She then put the man on the ground by sweeping his legs out from under him, then proceeded to break both of their arms. "You will do what I say, or I will be back. If I come back, I will do much worse than this." The two nodded silently and she left to get her next mission.

- Mission 2:
Name: Catch that bird!
Rank: C-Rank
Location: Any Village
Reward: 100 exp, 200 ryo, 400 word count
Description: A messenger pigeon with very valuable information attached to it has been let loose around the village. Chase after it before it has the chance to escape!
Once she arrived back to the mission tower, it was in and out. She spoke only briefly to the mission chuunin, but she was back out the building with a new mission scroll within ten minutes. She jumped up onto a rooftop to look at her latest mission. Put out by the mail company, apparently one of their carrier pigeons that was carrying a classified document with highly sensitive information was roaming around the village without anyone monitoring its location. Her mission was simple, track down the bird and capture it without losing any of the classified information it contained. It would be a simple task to catch it, once she managed to track it down.
She rushed off the rooftop, jumping down, spinning on a flagpole and then leaping back into the air. She landed on a telephone wire and ran across it. She was looking for one of the pigeons which were easy to distinguish from the backpack that they wore that was large enough for a scroll to be placed inside. She ran around pretty aimlessly at first. Not spotting anything unusual among the mass of pigeons that flew around the village all the time. She hoped his luck would change soon.
As she rushed around, she was looking in all the hot spots, trying to spot this pigeon through hundreds of others, There were at least two hundred at each stop, but she painstakingly hunted each one down to make sure that it wasn't the one she was hunting. She was still searching, even after several hours of looking. But, she finally managed to find a lead. She overheard some old women that were leaving the park talking about a strange bird they had been feeding with some backpack on its back. That was her first lead and she wasn't letting it get away.
Sprinting at top speed away from where she was, she headed in the direction of the park. Once she arrive, without stopping, she honed in on where the pigeon was while she ran. It hadn't noticed her, and it never did as she swooped in for the kill. Well, not kill, but capture. Once she caught it, she ran to the mail area, dropped it off in a cage. Once she did this, got her signature, she would be on her way back towards the mission tower. She wanted nothing more than to get paid and grab her next mission. Hopefully it proved to be more of a challenge than this one.

- Missions 3:
Name: Academy sparring Session
Rank: C-Rank
Location: Any Village
Reward: 100 exp, 200 ryo, 400 word count
Description: Academy students say that they have gotten bored with daily classes. The instructor asked you to head over and give them a lesson in pain. Spar with the 20 students and show them why they should take their instructor’s lessons seriously.
Her next mission was going to be one that could prove to be challenging enough, or it could come off as a simple task. She didn't really care about the difficulty. No, her real mission was to gain money and experience. Once she finished these missions, then she could focus on training and truly improving herself. Her goals were simple really, as she had yet to really find her place in the world. She only wanted to grow stronger and have money. Once she got strong enough to figure out what she was meant to do, or to find out what he could decide to do, she wanted to grow strong.
In this world only the strong could truly decide for themselves what would happen. It is the truth, all through history, it is, as they say, written only by the victors. He wanted to be strong enough to become a victor. She knew that if she wasn't able to defend himself he would be locked up again, an involuntary shudder ran up her spine. She wouldn't ever be put back in that situation again. Broken from her thoughts, she looked up to find herself standing in front of the location of her next mission.
The shinobi academy. She had come here far more since she has been out of it, than she was when she was in it. Anyways, her current job was to go in and teach the academy students just how far out of their league they were. They had been complaining to their teacher that their lessons were boring and that they were ready for some real mission type training. She was to show up and give them a painful lesson as to why they should pay closer attention to their lessons from the academy.
She opened the door and sized up the students in the room. Some of them would be graduating this year. Meaning they were all several years older than she was. She entered and faced the class. "I have been told that you find your instructors lessons boring and that you wish to test yourselves against a real shinobi. Well, here I am. Come at me." She gave that signal and the majority of the class rushed her. It was over in minutes. She kicked, punched and chopped all of them into submission. Once she finished he looked out over the class of beaten kids. "You'll pay attention from now on, I trust?" Was the last she said before she walked out.

- Mission 4:
Name: Defeat the thugs
Rank: C-Rank
Location: Any Village
Reward: 100 exp, 200 ryo, 400 word count
Description: A group of thugs have declared a shop belongs to them and have barred entry of employees and customers. Go teach them thugs a lesson. Try not to break any of the merchandise.
Leaving the academy, she rushed over to the mission tower once she got her signature. Rushing to the tower, she arrived to turn in her mission. The chuunin applauded her for another mission completion times and handed her another C-ranked mission for the day. Her next mission was rather straight forward in the means of actually having to do something. Mostly for the fact that she had already done a mission like it. She was to go to a store that had been overtaken and besieged by thugs. Her mission was simple, go in, take care of the bandits, but don't break anything in the store.
It was one thing to just have to take down some untrained thugs, but to have to do so within a crowded storefront was added challenge. She went over to the building and decided to scope it out before doing anything crazy. She looked at the building in question to find it had a normal market type build with shelves inside containing most of its wares. Closer examination revealed that there were around five thugs in the store, three of them were patrolling while two of them were working on collecting money from the cash registers. She would have to move in swiftly and take care of them before they had a chance to react.
She decided she would go for the two at the register before taking on the ones who were patrolling around the store. She watched and found that the guards seemed to be moving in a pattern, and she was able to decipher that they would all be to the back of the store. This gave her a limited window of opportunity to begin the attack. She rushed in the store, moving out of sight of the two who moved to investigate the sound. Before they could make a sound, Shizune knocked one to the ground and chopped his neck to crush his vocal chords, she then planted an upwards kick into the others to do the same to his. Once they were both on the ground, it took nothing more than a punch to the face to knock them unconscious.
The next thing she did was to move to the back of the store. She found the three guards all in the back, they had just reached the peaks of their individual patrols. She rushed in for the takedown swiftly. Moving faster than they could ever hope to react to. She landed in between them and delivered quick chops to their necks to knock them all out. Once this was done and the store owner moved in, she got her signature and left.

- Mission 5:
Name: Sparring Buddy pt2
Rank: C-Rank
Location: Any Village
Reward: 100 exp, 200 ryo, 400 word count.
Description: The shinobi you helped last time has made exceptional improvements thanks to your guidance and has risen to the rank of Chuunin. However, they still believe that there is a lot that they can improve on, so they ask you to help them yet again. Have another sparring match and see if you can give them anymore pointers.
Prerequisite: Completed Sparring Buddy Mission
She quickly made her way back to the tower to collect her next mission, she began to have an exisential pondering session. She did not often have days where he did nothing, as she found that she felt better in general when she had things with which to occupy her time. She wouldn't waste his time sitting around or playing games like others her age, no, she had high aspirations and wanted to get places. So, her next mission for the day would be to help a young Chuunin do a bit of training. It would turn out that it was one of the boys she had helped before. He had apparently gotten a teacher and learned some more useful skills and had even been promoted.
So, the boy had requested her again to test his mettle, to find out if he had truly gotten stronger. Shizune had no problem with this and obliged. Arriving, she found the boy waiting and without wasting more than a head nod, they both got into position for the match to begin. The boy rushing Shizune with far more speed than he had before, She would move to dodge, but it was a feint. Shizune hadn't expected the hit to the gut, nor the punch to her face that followed. She was certainly surprised at the improvement shown by the newly christened Chuunin, but it was nothing she could not match. Ducking the next punch, she delivered two to the boys chest herself, then left a couple more in his sides before going for a low, sweeping kick. To her surprise and slight enjoyment, the kick was simply dodged with a slight jump before her opponent attempted to kick her. She dodged the swift kick and used the moment to knock her opponent off balance. It was simple from there to get the kid on the ground, and from there to make him yield. It was a good workout though and she had to admit that she had improved. She would shake the boys hand as they were now equals.

- Mission 6:
Name: Stocking the market
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: A local vendor has received a shipment of merchandise and needs help unloading them from the cart and putting them on the shelves in their store.
Shizune walked to the mission office. She had yet to be placed on an official team, so she was stuck doing basic D-ranked missions until she was placed. That was fine with her in general. She hadn't had very much, if any real interaction with those ninja her age. Ever since she got into the academy, she met the one class in the academy, but after that, she was granted her rank and set loose. Today was going to be her first day of missions, and with the sun threatening to rise in a couple of hours, she knew it was time to get started. Her first mission was to aid an elderly shop owner to unload and store a cart of supplies. She arrived, spoke a few greetings to the elderly man, she then started to help him pack up the boxes. It only took her around thirty minutes to unload the boxes, and then only around ten minutes to put them away. Once she finished, she simply showed the man her missions report and got his signature. At which point, she returned to the office to collect her reward and pick up her next mission.

- Mission 7:
Name: Delivery!
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: A local market has an order of assorted vegetables for you to deliver to a paying customer on the opposite side of the village. Deliver the wooden box of vegetables without damaging them.
Clasping her second mission scroll shut, Shizune swiftly made her way across the village. She had a particular location in mind that she needed to reach. It was a market store, a place that sold fresh fruits and vegetables grown in the oasis. She arrived and the woman that ran the place quickly shoved a wooden box filled with various vegetables into her chest and pushed her out the door. She yelled something along the lines of he had to deliver that before the sun rose above the village. She knew that she only had around twenty more minutes, and time was only moving on. She immediately leapt into action, jumping up one of the buildings, using her shinobi agility to make the way up to the rooftop. From there, she moved at high speeds towards the east, where she was to deliver these groceries. She could see that the sun was just beginning to reach the point where it would show in the horizon. She flipped, moving fast enough that none of his cargo had the chance to fall out. When she landed, she was in front of a door. Rechecking the number to the one that was written on the box, she would knock three times and an elderly woman would answer the door. After she took her food, signed the mission slip, and thanked her for the help, Shizune would swiftly make her way back to the mission tower to turn in another successful mission.

- Mission 8:
Name: A sparring buddy
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: A Genin shinobi of your village has requested a sparring partner. Either engage in simple taijutsu with them, or try to beat them at the use of some jutsu. Give some pointers if necessary or create a healthy rivalry!
Her third mission was actually just about ready to start. There was a fresh Genin, similar to herself, that was looking for a sparring partner to test his strength against. He simply wanted someone against whom to see how he measured. So, Shizune would quickly make her way to the training area. Once there, she found a child, a couple years older than herself it appeared, and much larger in frame as a result of this age gap. Shizune approached the boy, "Hi there! I'm Shizune! It's nice to meet ya! I'm here to be your sparring partner today! Don't go too easy on me!" When she said this, he got into a basic stance that he had mastered in his time at the academy. It was a stance that he had pushed himself into learning so that he would be able to defend himself, while still being able to react to openings created by said defense. When the little kid rushed him, he dodged to the right of the first punch, then used his left palm to push the follow up punch up into the air while simultaneously planting his right fist into the kids gut. Hard. The kid fell to the ground coughing, "Wow! You're much tougher than me! I'm the one who needs more training!" At the kids current level, he was definitely a force to be reckoned with! She got her signature and ran off to the tower to collect her next mission.

- Mission 9:
Name:Diner Dash Disaster
Rank:D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: One of the popular restaurants in your village has requested an additional helping hand during their busy hours. You are to report to the restaurants, clean off tables, take orders and deliver food before the patrons decide to leave!
Her fourth mission of the day, was to aid in a popular breakfast diner in the village. She was to relieve one of the night shift workers just in time for their morning rush. It was already nearly 0730 and the rush would be starting the moment the place opened up. When she arrived, she was greeted by a very drunken manager who ordered her to clean off tables and prepare the food. Which, in her humble opinion seemed like a lot to ask someone at her tender age. But, she made it work. She went to work, first cleaning off the tables which hadn't been cleaned by the nightly staff. She wiped them clean at a rapid pace, leaving them sparkling in her wake. Next, came the hardest part of this mission, preparing the food. She had been trained to cook basic meals, using materials one would find in the wilderness, and a few meals that could be made using things found in a normal kitchen. She went to work, getting all their required food prepared, just in time too, as the doors opened and orders began to pour in. She looked up as two people wearing kitchen clothes finally arrived to relieve her of duty. One of them signed her mission slip in the stead of their passed out manager. She was ready for another.

- Mission 10:
Name: A good example
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: The shinobi Academy has requested you to stop by and help them with some students. They want to encourage their current students to pass their courses and they have chosen you to be an example to the students. Show them a basic jutsu or two!
Shizune, upon receiving her fifth mission, would head over to the academy building. It was a place that she didn't know all that well, given the little amount of time she spent there. She knocked on the classroom door three swift times before an instructor opened it. The instructor was obviously relatively new as a Chuunin instructor, as he didn't have that solid teacher look about him. This could be a façade though, so she didn't think about it too much. The instructor introduced her as a fresh Genin who had just graduated. He told the class that she would be offering a demonstration today. The students seemed intrigued, except for one who looked a bit older than the others. In fact, he seemed several years older than any of the others. The boy simply scoffed, said that Shizune looked weak and then challenged him to a fight. Shizune, not sure how to handle the situation, glanced at the instructor who offered an approving nod. The match was fast, he used a couple of simple, yet effective taijutsu maneuvers to efficiently take down her quarry. The students all cheered as their resident bully was humiliated. Shizune gave the chuunin her paper, which was quickly signed. She then went to get her next mission.

- Mission 11:
Name: Find Mr.Snugglewuffles
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: There is a rather lagre and cheerful lady with many cats in her house. One of her cats, Mr. Snugglewuffles has gotten "lost" Find the lost cat and return him home(No matter how much he may desperately fight you to escape).
Shizune looked down at the mission in her hand before slipping it into her cargo pocket for safe keeping. She made her way through the village once more, under the heat of the afternoon sun. When she arrived at her destination, a rather large house in the upper class civilian district, she rasped the door three times before a woman answered. She described to Shizune how one of her 132 cats had gone missing, a Mr.Snugglewuffles. He was supposedly a brown tabby with a green eye and a yellow eye. Shizune was to find him and return the little scamp before he got himself into trouble. She was warned thrice about the cats mean streak, but she assured the owner that she could handle it. She searched for around two hours before finally finding a cat that matched the description given to her by the woman. She moved in and grabbed it by the scruff of its neck and chopped it on the back of its head. It went limp in her arms and she carried it back to the womans house. Once she got there, before knocking on the door, she would pinch a nerve on the back of its neck and it would wake up, groggily. Upon returning it and getting a signature, Shizune would return to pick up her next mission.

- Mission 12:
Name: Graffiti
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: A vandal has recently vandalized several buildings. You are to clean the red paintings off the buildings and report any suspicious characters hanging about.
Her next task would be on the simpler side, she was to clean some graffiti up and stake out the area for suspicious activity. She arrived to find an artsy name drawn on the side of a building along with a chibi character of a boy in a green striped hat holding up a peace sign. She started scrubbing from the scaffolding that was hanging from the building, while she didn't need it, it was useful for holding the cleaning supplies that she had. She also kept an eye on the busy street below her that held the numerous people going about their day. As she cleaned, she noticed a man off to the side, his face was shadowed by the green striped bucket hat he was wearing. Shizune took in the rest of his features and decided not to move on the man, she knew too little about his abilities and couldn't risk the possibility that she'd be in over her head. She knew that a good kunoichi should never allow their emotions or ambitions to cloud their better judgement. Once the wall was cleared, she took his mission and a report on the suspicious man back to the tower. It was time for another mission.

- Mission 13:
Name: Pulling Weeds
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: An orphanage in your village has several garden plots and not enough help to keep the weeds from strangling their crops. You are to pull weeds from three garden beds.
She opened the gates to a rather drab garden, located behind the village orphanage. She was to help pull weeds out of three of their planters to help them with their short staff. She didn't really understand why they didn't make the children do such a simple task, but she wasn't in a position to question it. She arrived at the first flower bed, which had a few roses beginning to bud from their bushes. She pulled the weeds from them, putting them into a burn pile that they had set up to get rid of the waste. Once she finished with the rose bed, she moved on to one that contained tulips. She pulled all the weeds same as before and put them into the burn pile where they were burned away. It was a simple task to pull weeds, but she was being payed, so she didn't really care. She moved to the Daisy flower bed, which was the last one she had to worry about. She pulled the weeds, one by one, and put them into the fire. Once she finished and got the matron to sign her paper, she rushed off to the mission tower to turn it in, claim her reward and go on another mission. But, she needed to hurry, daylight was running out.

- Mission 14:
Name: Picking up trash
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: The business section of the village has recently obtained an excess of trash. Vendors have not disposed of trash properly. You are to bag up the loose trash, dump them in the burn pits and burn them.
Her time was beginning to run short, she probably only had enough time to do this mission and one more, depending on how fast she could get this mission done. She rushed towards the business sector of the village so she could begin another pointless mission. This one, believe it or not, was to pick up trash and put it into burning bins located along the street. This trash, you may ask, is indeed the leftovers for street vendors. Of course, these burn pits were put in place for the vendors to dispose of their own waste, and for their patrons to do the same, but of course, they didn't. No, they left that sort of basic, simplistic task for the genin of the village. Their personal street sweepers. Though, it didn't matter, she was being payed and she moved at her top speed and threw the bags with great might, so one could say this was a form of training. She spent several minutes doing this, and finally lit all the barrels that the waste may be disposed of. She returned to the mission tower once she had completed her task to receive her final mission of the day. It was going well so far, so she hoped this streak would end well.

- Mission 15:
Name: Walk the dogs
Rank: D Rank
Location: Any village
Reward: 50exp, 100 RYO, 200 word count.
Description: An elder couple in your village is too old to walk their "energetic" dogs. Two large muscular canines that will tug on their leashes, attempting to break free from your grip often. Walk them around the village once and return them unharmed to the elderly couple.
The sun was beginning to set over the village and Shizune was on her final jaunt of the day. She was on her way to a house just on the outskirts of the village to take out an elderly couple's two energetic pups for a walk, so they would be tired enough to go to sleep on time. When she arrived at the modest cottage, she was greeted by the elderly man and handed two leashes already attached to the hulking beasts. They immediately rushed out the doors and looked like they would jerk her along after them, but she held strong, their momentum working against them as they ran out of slack, jerking back suddenly. She dragged them through the village instead, at just a bit faster than they could run comfortably. She had them running their top speed the whole time. Once they arrived back at their home, and she handed them back off to their owners, the moment they were off the leash, the two canine slumped over to their beds and crawled in. They were snoring In seconds. Being congratulated on a job well done, Shizune took their signature back to the missions board where she was paid and told to come back in the morning as they were closing.
