Thuggin' thugs[C Mission][IO]

Heir. Prodigy. Responsibility. Clan Pride. Expectations. These were all words used to identify the young man with long raven black hair. His eyes a dull onyx black as he looked out nonchalantly across the many bobbing and weaving heads of countless villagers in Johogakure. The market- a place of commerce, especially for the village. Taxes were one revenue that the village could control... Yet there were a group of thugs who had taken over a shop. It was the village shinobi's duty to protect the people of Johogakure and their property. More importantly, the shop and its resources belonged to Johogakure's funds. The village executed orders for a mission and placed the responsibility of its success under three shinobi. A cleanup crew Rei thought to himself, examining the outcome and expectations of this mission from the village's "needs" perspective.

He did not know whom would be on this mission with him, but he awaited further instructions at the gathering point. A small ramen shop within eyesight of the store which had been aggressively seized by some ballsy thugs. Even now, he watched almost lifelessly as a couple of thugs showed themselves from windows or traversed in and out of the building. A two story building with multiple windows, a front door and a rear door. Plenty of places to invade from... but also many places to escape from. Dealing with all of the thugs could prove difficult for him, especially since he wasn't the best at Ninjutsu. His method would require more planning and more cunning. Johogakure wanted this shop back however and preferably, the merchandise unharmed. "Must be nice to give orders ad not worry yourself." he said out loud and then leaned forward, slurping up some hot miso ramen.

Mugetsu had been tasked with yet another mission. This time it has been with two other ninja from Johogakure. He had only interactef with one other ninja in the village besides those back in the academy. This mission would be interesting to him would allow to him to create further connections in the village. Although Mugetsu preferred to work alone and did not really care for social interactions, he had seen that there were upsides to having contacts and friends. For thar very reason had had chosen to take this mission because he knew that he would be working with other people.

He had arrived in the shadows around the place that they were all to be meeting. In fact he had already spotted one of the people he was to be working with. The mission had provided the names of the people but Mugetsu had liked to do introductions himself. Walking up behind the boy he would hear him say something that Mugetsu himself agree with. It certainly would be nice to give orders and relax himself. That was the goal for every ninja eventually but for now such thoughts should be put away. "Must be nice indeed..." Mugetsu would wait until the ninja turned around to see him. "Mugetsu Noblord, pleasure to meet you." Like always he had been dressed from head to toe in a pitch black assassin attire. His blonde hair and red eyes were a stark contrast to his attire which typically for an assassin was not a good thing but there was nothing he could do about such things.

Silent, tactful, barely noticeable. That was the impression he received from the first blonde. Rei hadn't noticed him until he was much closer. Too close. He set his chopsticks down and turned his head slightly to look the Noblord in the eyes. Noblord... the space-time clan. A valuable piece. Rei thought to himself, assessing his first teammate. While Mugetsu had entered himself into conversation, the second shinobi in their three-man cell arrived. Also a blonde. Rei knew this one without an introduction, a Terumi. Truth be told, his aging mother was constantly trying to find an arranged marriage for him. Although with his father being the Johokage, it seemed like none were good enough. Maybe that wasn't entirely accurate. Rei personally felt that a marriage would hinder him and so he constantly declined potential candidates, this girl included.

He would set down his chopstick and stand up. Unlike Mugetsu whom dressed for espionage and assassination, Rei dressed for less purposeful reasons. Simple, it was most comfortable to him. To wear a kimono and haori. Typically purple with some grey, and a bit of black. Tenri had upped the ante a little by giving a polite bow, which Rei was expected to follow customs. He was the Johokage's son. "Rei Uchiha. Son of Johokage Kiba Benimaru. Grandson of Johokage Nerumu Uchiha." He left off there momentarily for the sake of introductions before "business". He did not say it was a pleasure, because it wasn't. He did not know these two shinobi that well, nor did he have any value placed into them. His interest in them was what they could provide to the success of this mission. He would assess them himself whether they were worth is time and attention or not.

After introductions, he would move his empty bowl of ramen aside as the blonde girl Tenri, placed a map on the table. Rei recognized it instantly. he had been staking out the building after all, these blueprints were like the connected dots to his unclear plan. She comes prepared. An assassin like Mugetsu also proves useful for this mission. Rei thought to himself, albeit he didn't have much in mind for Tenri Terumi. Lava on a delicate mission like this didn't seem most appropriate for making sure the merchandise was undamaged. If Tenri and Mugetsu had nothing to say to him by this point, he would extend his right hand from beneath the sleeve of his colorful kimono and point with his index finger at several points to the building's structure. "Our most effective method will be to lure the thugs from inside, out into the street. Or at least as may of them as we can. My count earlier totaled to about six thugs. Assume there are more."

He would pause to see if the other two had anything to add. "I specialize in Genjutsu and some bukijutsu tricks. I can handle some finesse work. Leave the inside thugs to me. It would work best if Tenri-chan was to lure the thugs out. Mugetsu-kun to pick them off from the rear, while I assess and neutralize any remaining thugs inside." he would end his suggestion for the mission and wait for the other two to make up their mind. He was accepting to a new plan, as long as he felt it had merit.

Uchiha and Terumi. Both clans that held a high standing in Johogakure and produced some of the finest ninja with it. Mugetsu had been immediately please with the people he had to work with just from clan notoriety alone. Who they were as individuals did not matter to Mugetsu. He knew that both clans did not produce people who were equipped to serve as ninja so he was already confident that this mission would go off without a hitch. Rei had even been the grandson of the Johokage. Surely his skills whether now or later would be adequate in several situations. His abilities to discern a situation and come up with a plan that produced the best result, in such a short amount of time was proof of his adequacy already. Furthermore Mugetsu himself would not object to the plan it.

He felt it was a sound one and gave everyone a chance to do their own part and carry some of the weight. Mugetsu's part was simple. All he needed to do was be prepared for when the thugs exited the building and take them down. It was a shame that he couldn't kill any of the thugs, it would make things so much easier but he was prevented from doing so. While Mugetsu did enjoy the arts of an assassin more than anything even he had his own limits. Mugetsu would simply nod in response to Rei's plan he had nothing much to offer in regards to the plan. He would simply do his job and stop the thugs from causing any more unneeded trouble.With all of them working together there was no way that these thugs would escape.

Neither had any objections to his plan, or at least verbalized any. That was good enough for Rei. First up would be the Terumi Tenri. While he hadn't directly said what she "needed" to do for this mission, she understood his concept. Stripping down to the bare essentials, Rei didn't bat an eye, nor cast too long of a glance in her direction. This was for a mission, not pleasure. Plus as he was a shinobi of Genjutsu, he knew just how deadly a woman's simple allures could become. Of course that wasn't to say he wasn't majestic either, because he was. He had been born, blessed with his mother's natural beauty and strength from both father and mother. Often he was mistaken for a female due to his elegant posture, choice of clothing and long raven hair. This wasn't a beauty contest though, not that he cared. Rather, his opinion of Tenri only rose as she did not become offended, appalled or shy at the prospect of using her body to lure out their prey with her womanly charms. Assuming Mugetsu himself also remained calm, they would wait for Tenri to undress herself and get into position for the trap.

This left only one person at the ramen shop uncomfortable, the owner. An older man in his fancy cooking outfit, picking up Rei's empty ramen bowl and looking in the three companions' direction with slight amusement... But more so, concern. Just what exactly were these two men forcing this young lady to do? It was none of his business, and one look from the Johokage's son, sent the owner away to mind his own business. 

Contrary to belief, he preferred to not use his title, nor his clan to his own benefit. At least in social environments or anywhere that it was not to his benefit. This was not one such situation. He cared very little what the others thought of him, although there was the chance that they would prove valuable pawns, maybe even allies.

Once they were ready, Rei would circle around the street and approach the besieged shop from behind. If Tenri approached from the front and drew their attention, Rei would slip into the building through the back door on the first floor. As he silently moved up behind the allured men, he would twitch his fingers. He stood casually with the men and they had yet to notice his presence as they began to drool over the young half naked blonde at their shop. Maybe she was drunk? Lost... or? In any case, they "owned" the shop. Who would say anything if they took this blone to the back room and had their way with her?

That was likely what they were thinking- and requires at least three of them to make sure she couldn't escape. Three of them would walk out the front door of the shop, the fourth standing in the doorway. The fifth and sixth thug remaining inside but watching the bemused spectacle with mild suspicion. Little did they know, Rei had already sealed the doors and windows on the first floor with invisible chakra strings, which were attached to a very long roll of ninja wire beneath his haori. Of course he would make sure Mugetsu entered beforehand if the assassin had chose to enter in the building in a similar manner. Once Mugetsu would take action, Rei was certain Tenri was likely to turn the tables on the three outside. Meanwhile, he would deal with the two skeptics inside.

From his sleeve, his left hand would appear suddenly with six shurriken between his knuckles. He would throw them at the two thugs inside, aiming for the backs of their knees. Once the shurriken would hit their marks, Rei would tug his fingers on his right hand a couple of times. This changed the direction of the flying shuriken, reversing the direction of the metal projectiles and arcing them upward. The target on return, was the hands. A sickening second later, the sound of agonizing screams, followed by the soft but disgusting sound of many fingers falling to the floor would echo through the room as the thugs outside would realize they were being attacked. The two thugs inside were finished. Rei had severed their tendons in their knees and chopped off their fingers. They could no longer run, nor stand. Nor could they grasp any weapon with fingerless hands. They just fell to the ground, crying in agony and cursing at him as he stood over them with dull onyx eyes.The chakra strings would bring the shurriken back to him and he would return them inside his haori. If none of the thugs tried to flee the back side of the building, they wouldn't run into his ninja wire. He would tug his finger and the ninja wire would also return under his haori. "I can't believe this is what passes for thugs these days." he would say, assuming his companions had already subdued their targets. Killing them was easier, but frowned upon inside the village. So Rei made sure they would never walk again, nor would they steal anything with their hands. Checkmate. he would say to himself, fancying the terms of Shogi as his own methods during battle.

Jutsu:

Mugetsu had been ready from the first moment the plan was brought up. However much he did like having a strategic plan he would always be more excited about the actions of preforming the plan more. However he could admire the lengths that Tenri had gone through to make sure this plan would go off without worry. Her actions had indeed not bother Mugetsu in the slightest. He remained just as expressionless as he always had been. Women were not something that were within his eyes at the moment. He only had two goals. It was to live up to his fathers dream as replacing him as the head of the clan, and to become a true assassin.

Once they all scattered Mugetsu rather then entering the building stood in the shadows of an alley directly adjacent to the front of the building. He was to wait for his targets to exit and take them down. It would certainly be more easier for him to kill the targets instead of subduing them but he would have to hold his urges back for now. The village did not prefer killing within the highly populated areas but most of Mugetsu's kit were meant for fatal blows. He was still more than certain that he could take down the second rates thugs without a worry, however he would not enjoy it as much.

It had seemed the plan had gone out without a hitch as he saw several thugs exiting the front of the building and one standing in the doorway. When the thugs attention had been attracted to the inside of the building, Mugetsu knew it was his time to move. Quickly sprinting from out of the ally and behind the thug located furthest from the door. The blonde haired ninja would leap into the air forming the bird, rat, dog hand signs before thrusting his knee aiming into the skull of the  first thug. Just as the powerful blow from the knee made contact, the thug would instantly fall unconscious.

As soon as Mugetsu's feet were planted on the ground he would continue his assault. But as the second bandit turned around to face Mugetsu, he would be unable to see the mass of chakra that had materialized behind him. Punching forward, Mugetsu would signal the forming of the mass of chakra to mirror his own punch and attack the thug from behind. This chakra punch construct would knock the thug into Mugetsu, allowing him to once again thrust his knee into the jaw of the second thug similarly knocking him unconscious.

That would only leave the remaining thug behind who had been quickly rushing Mugetsu with a kunai to protect his unconscious friends. Mugetsu would simply round kick the kunai out of the thugs hand and follow up with a powerful uppercut punch to the abdomen to knock out the remaining thug. Mugetsu's fightning had been lack luster at most but that because he had not been built for disabling a target. He was better suited for killing. "The rest is up to you guys," Mugetsu would yell as he would fold his arms and look at the unconcious thugs being taken away by the village police on scene.
