History:(The Hoshigaki clan's history is filled with mostly terror. Although they are mostly human, they are seen and even treated as lesser than human by some narrow-minded individuals. The history of the clan goes far back, to the first Johokage, which despite the clan's innate water potential- was seen as barbaric and unnecessary. Being denied citizenship to the village upon its creation, the scorned clan turned their focus to the edge of the shinobi world, the sea.

The clan was small during the first Johokage's time, but their skill in water ninjutsu and their special bodies made them invaluable sailors and fishermen. Their little clan turned into a small village, and their little village turned into a major port for travel, and fishing.

It was not until the second Johokage's time that the real merit of the clan would be realized. Ever since the Hoshigaki had been turned away from Johogakure, the clan had relied on their innate water skills to become pirates. For many years, the Hoshigaki did both traded goods they had pilfered from other smaller vessels, as well as honest fishermen work. Manky in Johogakure saw the clan in its entirety the same way the first Johokage had. Barbaric and unwanted. Yet the second Johokage saw an opportunity here. He was in need of a powerful naval fleet. The Hoshigaki were a strong water type and was experienced in both sailing and sea battle. Instead of wasting resources on crushing them, he sought to broker an alliance and welcome them into the village.

Some of the Hoshigaki accepted the welcome, others spurned the good intentions. Bad blood had been boiling beneath their different colored skin for a couple generations. To the Hoshigaki that accepted a role as a shinobi of Johogakure, they were trained and assigned as a part of the second Johokage's naval fleet- a strong and rigid military system, compared to the regular shinobi village rank system.

The Hoshigaki that did not accept the proposal, stayed as pirates- which would later result in the clan fighting among themselves. Half as Johogakure's naval fleet, the other hald as lawless pirates.)

Appearance:(The Hoshigaki clan possess some of the most unusual appearances. Typically, their skin is a soft blue color and they possess gills around their face or neck which allows them to breathe underwater. The clan's KKG revolves around sharks, so the skin color of a Hoshigaki is not always blue. They can be white, purple, and even green. They possess rows of sharp shark-like teeth and fish webbing between their fingers and toes.)
KKG/Ability:(The clan's unnamed KKG is a birth trait for the Hoshigaki. They are born more shark than human, but develop all humanoid features within the first year of being born. Primarily a meat eating clan, the Hoshigaki stomach allows them to eat meat raw without issue. Their extremely sharp teeth allows them to tear into creatures and even humans(If so inclined). Most notably, the gills around their face and/or neck allow them to breathe beneath water. Additionally, the fish webbing between their fingers and toes allows them to move freely and swiftly through water.)

In water, their Speed stat becomes 1.5x their normal speed.
In water, they have a strong sonar sense. Allowing them to "view" objects within water as well as their number, speed and distance.
Their shark-like teeth grow rapidly, replacing any damaged or missing teeth.
