Mission:

Meiko didn’t expect picking up trash throughout the business section of the village would ever be a mission she’d have to take on, but she knew she had to start somewhere. She knew that she had to work her way up in the Shinobi world if she ever wanted to prove the strength of Medical Ninja.

She made her way around the business district and began to pick up every piece of trash that she saw. It was a tedious task having to weave through the crowds of people just to get a single piece of trash. She couldn’t believe that the village hadn't enforced a law that stopped vendors from littering. If there weren’t Shinobi to clean up the mess then the business district surely would have become a dump by now. It’d become a wasteland that nobody would ever want to visit. It wouldn’t only harm the reputation of the village with travelers, it’d also harm the inhabitants of the village. Something so filthy could spread disease throughout the village.

When she finally finished cleaning up all of the trash she could find Meiko made her way to the burning pits and threw the bags of trash she had collected into them. She ignited the pits and watched the trash burn. She then returned to the village to report in and collect her reward before going home for the night.

Mission:

A new day, a new mission. Today, it was going to be Meiko's job to pull the weeds from the three garden plots at the orphanage. She was more than happy to do so because she knew that the director of the orphanage must have their hands full with all of the children. She made her way over to the orphanage and met with the director before she began pulling weeds. It was an awkward conversation, of course. Meiko was still as shy as ever.

She made her way over to the first garden bed and began to pull the weeds out one by one. It was obvious that the garden beds weren't tended to often. Many of the crops had been strangled by weeds. They had every ounce of life sucked straight out of them. Meiko went ahead and decided to pull the crops that had died along with the weeds. There was no point in having a bunch of dead plants in the garden bed. Once she was finished with the first garden bed, she moved onto the second one and repeated the process. Then she did the same with the third.

Once she was done pulling all of the weeds and dead crops, she reported to the director of the orphanage. He seemed to be pretty happy that she went ahead and pulled the dead crops with the weeds. When she was done awkwardly speaking to him, she went back to the mission center and collected her rewards for another job well done.

Mission:

Meiko had received another mission to help clean up around the village. This time she was to clean up graffiti left behind on several buildings by a vandal. She was also to keep an eye out for any suspicious individuals hanging around the area. The mission wasn't much but it was still more exciting than the other two missions she had taken on prior to this one. This time she actually had to be aware of her surroundings to spot something suspicious. It was a chance to use her Byakugan.

She set off from her home and went to the first destination on her mission to clean the graffiti. She used the materials provided and began to scrub the paint off of the side of the building. Getting graffiti off of a building was harder work than she thought it was. However, she knew it was definitely going to be easier than most things she was going to face as a Shinobi. Once she was done cleaning graffiti off of the first building she activated her Byakugan and looked around the alleyway, but she wasn't able to spot any suspicious individuals hanging around the area. She finally decided to move onto the second building and repeat the process. She looked around the alleyways by the second building and was unable to find anything so she moved on. Once she was done cleaning, she looked around with her Byakugan and found a shady individual who was watching her clean the graffiti from the alleyway. She took note of the person's appearance and dashed off to report in. Her mission was complete, she had cleaned the graffiti from all of the buildings and found a shady individual to report.

Mission:

"Finally, a mission where I don't have to clean up around the village.", Meiko muttered to herself. A delivery mission wasn't exactly what she wanted to do next, but someone had to do it. She sighed softly before making her way to the market to pick up the order of assorted vegetables for the customer. When she reached the market, she looked around for the vegetable stall. Upon spotting it, she walked over to it and began to speak with the owner. "H-hi, I-I'm here to p-pick up the order...", she said nervously. The stall owner eyed her up and down before speaking, "So you're the one delivering the vegetables, eh?" He pointed to a box of assorted vegetables before saying, "They're over there."

Meiko walked over to the box of assorted vegetables and picked it up. It was heavier than she thought it'd be. "Taking this across the village is going to be a pain in the ass.", she thought to herself before sighing softly. Meiko began to walk through the market to her destination. She did her best to avoid large crowds and children running around. She didn't want to risk having the merchandise being knocked out of her hands. The customer definitely wouldn't be happy if she had arrived with damaged goods.

By the time she got to the customer's house, she was exhausted. Meiko walked up to the customer's front door and set the box down next to her before knocking softly. The customer opened the door and looked at her, waiting. "I-I'm here with your o-order.", She said, avoiding eye contact with the customer. The customer silently grabbed the box of vegetables and set them inside before handing her the payment. Meiko smiled softly before running off to deliver the payment to the stall owner.

Mission:

"Finally, a mission where I'm doing something other than stupid chores for the village!", Meiko said to herself excitedly. She was waiting for a moment to prove herself, a moment to prove that she has what it takes to be a Shinobi. She decided that before she began the mission that she should wait for it to be dark. It would be easier to hide out on the rooftops in the slums without getting caught if it was dark outside. While she waited for it to become dark she cleaned up around the house and made dinner for her father and herself. After she was done eating she decided that it was time to set off for the slums.

When Meiko reached the slums, she remained on the rooftops. She didn't want to be seen by anyone. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, she looked around for any suspicious activity. After a while, Meiko decided that it'd be best for her to use the Byakugan to find a large gathering of people. After she activated the Byakugan she found exactly what she was looking for. She headed over to the rooftop closest to the congregation of people and looked at them carefully. She noticed that the area was filled with giant wooden boxes and looked closely at one that was open. The box was filled with a large number of explosive tags and kunai. Sadly, she wasn't able to get close enough to swipe a couple of the items to use as evidence due to the amount of people in the area. Meiko was only going to be able to report the location of the dealings. Having gathered all of the information she needed, she ran off into the night.
