We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Mission 1:

Homura landed on her feet nice and hard as she fell from several stories up after jumping off of a building. She had been building some good momentum by running from roof to roof, which allowed her to deliver that nice, hard slam against the ground when she finally did land. She had arrived at her destination, the first stop of many that she would be making on her supposed journey. It all began right here, at this moment, in front of the gate of Johogakure.

Homura had gotten word that a special package had been given to Johogakure with the explicit instructions to bring it to a certain address in the Land of Snow. Homura wasn't told what the package was or who she was bringing it to, only that she would meet a samurai in the Land of Snow that would handle the rest. Supposedly she was supposed to be moving with some shinobi named Mugetsu, but Homura had never seen or met him before. Luckily for her, she was given a picture of what he looked like, otherwise she would've never spotted him among the crowd.

"Now... Where is this Mugetsu guy?" Mugetsu should've been given the package that they were going to have delivered, as well as a picture of what Homura would look like. They were scheduled to meet at the village's gate, where they would make their treck down to a port village and then towards the land of snow. Homura had brought a large bag filled with all of the necessary things she needed to survive the trip. She wore her usual style of outfit, which featured a red shirt with the word "Buster" proudly displayed on her chest, a logo from her favorite videogame, and a white and red jacket with the Uchiha sigil on the back. Her lower half adorned a white skirt, and under that some black spats. Then, finally, she had on standard shinobi sandals for her feet.

"I can't find this Mugetsu guy," Homura said to herself as she looked around for the person that she would be traveling with. "He better not have left without me."

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Mugetsu Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:18 pm

The land of snow. It was the place Mugetsu was going to be taking a trip to for the sake of delivering a package. It was somewhere he had never been but heard several stories of. This land supposedly had snowfall in it the whole year around something Mugetsu himself had rarely seen at all. The reason why he was going there was simply because of a mission to deliver a package to a Samurai in the land of snow. What peeked Mugetsu's interests more then the never ending snow was the Samurai. Samurai were warriors who unlike ninja did not use any form of ninjutsu, genjutsu, or taijutsu. They used their own forms of combat most heavily revolved around the usage of weapons, armors, and other strange methods. This would give Mugetsu the chance to meet a samurai in real life and see if what he had been told was true. Once picking up the package, which was a special box wrapped in paper concealing what was inside, Mugetsu would also receive additional mission information. It would seem that this mission was a two person job. The other person he was going to take on this mission with was an Uchiha, Homura Uchiha. This was not Mugetsu's first time working with a member of the Uchiha Clan and he felt that a person of that clan was an acceptable person to work with. The last Uchiha he had worked with held exceptional strategic abilities and hoped that this Homura would be of a similar caliber.

As he would near their meeting location Mugetsu would see that there was a crowd of people standing near the village gate. He could clearly already see Homura but what Mugetsu saw didn't initially impress him. She seemed to be rather impatient on the surface despite the time in which they were supposed to leave had not come past yet. But such a thing would not bother Mugetsu much. He would slip through the crowd silently and approach Homura from behind her concealing even the slightest sound from his steps. "You seem to be looking for me..." That was all Mugetsu would say he wanted to see how she respond. He could be clearly seen holding the package in his hands dressed head to toe in a deep black attire similar to that of the anbu, however more specialized to that of assassins. His long blonde hair would be completely straight and slicked back behind his ears, and his blood crimson red eyes would glisten endlessly in the sun. Mugetsu had indeed arrived and would follow behind Homura as soon as she was ready to leave.

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Homura Uchiha Mon Aug 12, 2019 10:11 am

Homura shivered a bit and sprung her body away from the man who seemingly magically appeared behind her. She looked at him with an expression that showed just how creeped out she was at the guy's voice. When she saw that the person was none other than Mugetsu, the shinobi she was supposed to work with, her expression immediately turned to outright anger.

"Don't you ever sneak up on me like that again!" She told the male almost immediately, her hotheaded personality letting itself be known. She wasn't what an average Uchiha was supposed to be, but she felt no shame in admitting that. The entire idea that an Uchiha should be a tactical genius was appalling to her. She liked charging in and burning things down with her Jutsu, it was a simple strategy that got excellent results. However, what she didn't like were people randomly moving behind her without a sound or a noticeable intent.

"I see you got the package. That means we're good to go. Come on, the sun's getting low already." Homura wasn't the type for friendly hellos or pleasantries. She immediately wanted to jump to business. After all, the quicker they moved during this mission, the faster they could end it. The faster they could end, the quicker Homura could return home and play her new Ninja Fighter 4 video-game that she had just bought. Thus, after only newly meeting the guy, Homura began to move out of the village.

Later that day

The treck to the small port-village wasn't particularly long. It took a total of two days for a shinobi to get there. Though, it was literally on the first night that Homura and Mugetsu ran into their first problem.

It was during the middle of the night, while the moon was high. Homura had just finished cooking the food that she and Mugetsu caught when there was a rustle in the trees of the forest they rested in. Homura hated rustlings, they always forwarned of something dangerous. This time was no different, as the rustles continued before Homura had realized that they were surrounded by some rogue shinobi.

The shinobi had on black cloths that covered their entire person, probably so that they could hide better in the night, and a mask that covered their faces and prevented anyone from seeing who they were. There were no headbands that they wore, which meant that they probably didn't belong to any village.

"I hope you're as good at fighting as you are at sneaking," Homura said to Mugetsu. There were 4 shinobi in total. 2 for Homura to handle and 2 for Mugetsu. The hothead was secretly ecstatic to use the Jutsu she learned on these 2 guinea pigs, thus she immediately jumped into battle against them.

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Mugetsu Mon Aug 12, 2019 1:01 pm

Mugetsu was never one who had been bothered by the other actions of other people but there certainly was a first time for everything. Homura did not leave the greatest first impression on Mugetsu neither did he think she cared about such things. In fact Mugetsu typically didn't care to interact with people at all to avoid such situations like now. It was at the moment he would decide to interact with Homura as little as possible. Words were not needed to get a job done. Such a concept was what Mugetsu's entire being was built on, it was why he was so bad a social interactions. The Uchiha although they held great talents were those of arrogance and incredibly self centered. This bothered Mugetsu to an extent but there was no need to care about someones personality if they did their job correctly, so Mugetsu would never refuse to work with anyone he knew had the ability to get the job done. But that would be left to be determined in regards to Homura.

They had left the village and made good progress towards the Land of Snow, before they decided to take a break for the night. Mugetsu felt most relaxed shrouded in darkness. It was how he was able to feel at peace and it reminded him of his goal to be an assassin. As he rested he would observe Homura. It would seem that she did indeed have a hot headed exterior through and through. But she seemed to be incredibly perceptive and aware of her surroundings which was comforting. It was because of such things that her and Mugetsu were already aware of the rustling sound maybe by rouge shinobi. They were dressed in black clothing which concealed their appearances and to help people avoid seeing them in darkness. Such a thing made a fury boil in Mugetsu's heart? They wanted to sneak up on them and take them out? Such a thing was Mugetsu's job and they would learn a valuable lesson. Mugetsu would move swiftly even before Homura would began talking. By the time she noticed finished speaking she and the rouge shinobi would notice Mugetsu had already slipped away into the darkness.

He unlike the shinobi made not a single sound as he weaved through the trees and positioned himself deep within the trees behind two of the shinobi. Mugetsu before even giving them ample time to find out his location would began his assault. After forming the serpent, hare, and dragon hand signs; a thick layer of purple and pink chakra would cover his hands. Within moments Mugetsu would punch forward with his right hand aiming at for the rouge shinobi that was the furthest on the left. He would again repeat the process with his left hand, but this time he had at the shinobi directly next to his first victim. He was sure to aim in the general direction of their heart and before they even sense an attack was coming their backs would be pierced by a hand and arm shaped mass of chakra. This spatial chakra was capable of ignoring a part of the persons body to inflict further piercing damage. This force was enough to tear though their back and pierce their hearts killing them instantly. "Spatial Bullet." Mugetsu would slip away from his current postion to avoid being seen. This was the true ability of an assassin and the correct usage of stealth. Seeing their comrads fall would temporarily cause the shinobi to lower their guard and face away from Homura. "Let's see what this Uchiha can do."

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Homura Uchiha Mon Aug 12, 2019 6:43 pm

Homura was swift with her movements. Taking her windmill shuriken in her hand, she danced around the rogue-ninja who tried to attack her. She didn't even need her sharingan for this fight. They came at her both at once, and she handled them the way a skilled shinobi would. They didn't stand a chance against her.

When the fight was over, she stood at the top. She had stabbed one shinobi in the stomach with her windmill and completely hacked off the head of the other. Her shuriken was now covered in blood. She would have to wash that later. After she finished her two enemies, she noticed that the others were taken care of already. Homura noted two things about this guy once she saw the corpses of the men he fought. The first was that he liked to sneak behind someone to finish them, and the second was that he had some type of technique that pierced through a person's body. Though, that was all she could gather for now.

"Not bad," she idly complimented the shinobi. "We should get going soon. There's probably more on the way. Pack up your bags and let's go."

Mission:

After packing everything, Homura was quick to move away from their campfire. The rest of the way to the port-village was smooth sailing for the two shinobi. There didn't seem to be a resistance. When they made it, the sun was already high in the sky. They were just in time to catch the ship to the land of snow. They had to do a few paperwork and sign a few documents first- ordinary stuff to grant them permission to go aboard the ship. Of course, it was all very boring for Homura. After the paperwork was finished, it would take exactly an hour of waiting before they were able to climb onto the ship and make their journey.

"Mugetsu, did you notice that?" After having to wait in line and sign a lot of documents, Homura was given a strange feeling that someone was watching her. She looked around to see who gave her that feeling, only to spot a few cloaked figures who remained far behind them. The figures had on black robes that almost matched the appearance of the last shinobis they faced. Homura remembered spotting these individuals when she and Mugetsu entered the small village, but she didn't think much of them in the beginning. "They're not even trying to hide their killing intent." Now, it was obvious who they were after.

"You're the sneaky sneak guy. Can you handle them quietly?" If it was Homura duty to take them out, she would've burned them to a crisp. However, there were just too many people in the way, she couldn't use her Jutsu without the risk of getting other people killed. Thus, she had to take a backseat to this mission. "See if you can defeat them without making any sound. Making it look like an accident will be good, but make sure that no one discovers the body until we're gone. We don't want anything ruining our voyage, and a dead body popping up would be a good way to cancel our trip."

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Mugetsu Mon Aug 12, 2019 9:25 pm

Mugetsu and Homura were quick to leave the area after finishing off the group of thugs that surrounded them during the camp fire. They would travel until morning as they finally reached a port village that was the resting spot of the boat meant to take the pair to the Land of Snow. Mugetsu since being discovered by the thugs had taken extra care to check his surroundings. Just like Homura he had also seen the people who had been following them shortly after the campfire brawl. "Mm." Such a sounds was the only thing he would let out to let Homura know he was aware of the second group of hooded thugs. They were such a tenacious group of thus and it seems that they had not learned their lesson from their deceased friends. However there was a slight issue. Mugetsu did not have an ability in his kit that allowed to to take down the thus without causing a scene. He could only sigh in his inability to do such a thing. That was a main job of an assassin to kill without being notice in not only one but hundreds of situations. Mugetsu was going to have work hard later to make sure he was never caught without such way again. But for now he was going to have to be creative and had such an idea. "Within my arsenal I dont have an ability that will allow me to do what you asked at this moment. However, I have an idea that can at least prevent them from also gaining access to the boat."

Mugetsu was sure to have his back completely facing the thugs as he spoke to Homura. With sudden yet unnoticeable movements, he would began forming two sets of hand signs for two separate jutsu. "When I say the word now... Punch at me three times as hard as you can." The first set of hand signs, dragon, boar, dog, would signify the activation of Mugetsu's Network Freeze ability. In the sky covering a large area of the port village small little beads of chakra would began falling out the sky mimicking rain. "Hey! Look its raining!!!" Suddenly a villager of the port town would shout out causing everyone including the thugs to look at the unexpected rain falling from the sky. The main focal point of the rain would be located above the thugs and the utmost edge of the rain would stop just before Mugetsu and Homura. This technique upon contact with human bodies would simply go through them and attack their chakra network system freezing it and sealing their access to chakra. It not only severed as a distraction to the civilians around but left the thugs occupied and defeneless as well.

"Now!" Mugetsu would say to Homura as he waited for the three punches he had asked for. If she did punch at him he would signal with his left hand the start of the second jutsu he had done hand signs for. This jutsu hand signs had been monkey, tiger, monkey and was another technique of Mugetsu's clan, Relocation Level One. With his left hand he would summon forth three portals in the area's Homura had thrown a punch at him and while everyone's attention was drawn to the rain, he would also move his right had to signal the second part of this technique. Around the faces of the three thugs three matching portals would be opened allowing all three of Homura's punches to go through and knock the men unconscious. Having their chakra network sealed the men would not be able to guard against the attack and the civilians would be unable to see what happened to them. If Homura had done the punches as Mugetsu asked the three group of men would become surrounded by the villagers, taken away to the hospital, and Mugetsu and Homura would be free to continue their trip on the boat towards the Land of Snow free from those thugs who continuously followed them.

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Homura Uchiha Tue Aug 13, 2019 10:14 pm

Homura openly tsk'd when Mugetsu told her that he couldn't do as she asked. So he wasn't an assassin like she had thought. Then, what was that technique of his for? What type of fighting style allowed him to sink into the darkness and attack from the shadows? Homura wanted to ask the man, but he said something interesting that took her for a loop and stopped her thinking completely. He formed some hand signs in a strange sequence that made her glued to him. Suddenly, he told her to punch him as hard as she could. This made Homura look at him questioningly. "Are you sure about this?" she asked him. "You're not trying to trick me, are you?" It wasn't every day that someone told her to punch them, so this was completely new for Homura. Did this guy have some type of ninjutsu that catered to masochism? If so, Homura wanted no part of it.

"If you're sure..." Homura relents, choosing to trust in this guy just this once. She geared her fist up and prepared. When he gave her the signal, she started to punch. The first punch went right towards Mugetsu's face, only to disappear inside of a portal. It was a strange sensation she had with her first moving through a distorted space. She didn't know where it went, but she knew that it connected to something, and that was the most important thing. She threw the next punch to Mugetsu's stomach. It went through a portal yet again, but she didn't know where it ended up. She just felt that her attack had connected. Finally, she threw her last punch at Mugetsu's head yet again. With that, her sequence of attacks was complete.

Homura took a moment to look around her. Randomly it hard started raining. The rogue-ninjas she had seen before were also bruised and out, with many people gathering to check on them. This was their perfect chance to escape.

"Let's go," Homura said to Mugetsu. She rushed her way towards the ship that they were to depart for. She ducked her head through as many people as she could so that no other rogue-nin would spot her as she climbed aboard her cruise. When they were safe, Homura looked over the railing to watch for any more complications.

"Okay, that was pretty cool," she said to Mugetsu when she felt like they were in the clear. "That was Jikukan, right? I liked that Jutsu." She wondered if she could use something like that in the future.

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Mugetsu Tue Aug 13, 2019 11:21 pm

Mission 3:

Mugetsu was glad that Homura was able to trust him and help with taking down the bandits that were following them but it was best not to stay around for much longer. They both would quickly get on the boat that was about to depart. He was glad that she enoyed his usage of Jikukan jutsu they were surely helpful in a multitude of situations. "Yes indeed. That was a Jikukan Jutsu. My clan specializes in the usage and practicing of Jikukan techniques. Maybe some day if you're interested I can show you a thing or two." Mugetsu's clan did indeed specialized in Jikukan Techniques, however unlike most clans they didnt keep most of their techniuqes secrect. After chatting for a while they were able to shake the thugs that had been following them as Mugetsu had suspected. Homura and Mugetsu weren't able to lower their guards however and luckily they didn't. It would seem that their ship had also been tailed by two pirate ships. It was clear that these ships were also after Mugetsu and Homura. "Dammit, If I didnt leave them alive then they probably wouldn't have been able to tell people to tail us in their boats." Mugetsu was really upset with his lack of skills. While he did pride himself on his assassin work he was certainly not a seasoned assassin by any means. He had only begun such training in the way of an assassin and thus his kit was lacking. It could be seen that the two rouge pirate ships had quickly coat up to their boat and was preparing to attack and sink their ship. "We have to stop them, Ill take the boat of the left and you grab the one on the right. It best that we kill everyone following us. At the bare minimum we should destroy their ships. Once the captain notices their attacks he should speed away as quick as he can." Mugetsu prepared to attack the ship on the left side but first he wanted to hear Homura's thoughts. These bandits were surely tenacious but they will not stop the pair, not here, or not anywhere. They were going to complete this mission to the best of their ability. He just hoped that Homura could pick of the slack from the mistake he had made.

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Homura Uchiha Wed Aug 14, 2019 12:11 am

"Your clan's name... It's Noblord, right?" Homura had never been interested in clans before. To be honest, she barely paid attention to the history and culture of her own clan. Tenri, her close friend, at least had an interesting clan featuring lava users who could literally burn the ground that they stand on, but even they were less 0f an interest to Homura. She cared more about videogames than the clans of Johogakure. Though, maybe now she would learn a little more about this Noblord clan. Jikukan was something she was studying, so she could get a lot of information on how Jikukan works in that clan. "Hm. Well, if you have anything new to teach me, I'm always happy to learn. Despite the way I appear, I'm actually a good student, you know!"

Their conversation was cut off a bit short when two pirate ships suddenly emerged in the water. They didn't look any different from the vassal they traveled on, but there were a few contrasts. On the side of the pirate ship's boats were loaded canons that were ready to fire at any time. There was also a black flag that waved among their many others that expressed their intentions. They were here to sink the ship Homura and Mugetsu were on, and possibly take the package in their possession too.

She listened to the words that Mugetsu gave. Sudden he wanted to take charge. She didn't mind that one bit. She gave the man a devilish grin when he mentioned destroying the ships. "You don't have to worry about me," she said to him. "I can handle one ship. I'll make sure they'll never be able to sail in the open sea again!" With that, she was off. She didn't really have a plan for how she would deal with her pirate ship. They were gaining on them fast. It seemed that they had every intention to ram, then board the vessel. There were some innocent people on the ship that Homura and Mugetsu had taken. Homura would feel guilty if any of them suffered because of her.

"Alright random luck, don't fail me now." Her hands dance against each other as she weaves some signs. Ending her series of signals with the tiger seal, she leaned her head back and gathered the chakra into the pit of her stomach. Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique. The chakra is converted to fire as she moves it past her throat, then it is sent flying out of her mouth in the form of a giant fireball. The first shot she made against the pirate ship, she actually missed. Her trajectory was a bit off, and she didn't account for the wind. She fired again, this time getting a better sense of how she was supposed to spit out her Jutsu. Finally, when she had finished calculating inside of her head, and after the fourth try of attempting to land a hit on the ship, Homura was met with success. She landed her first strike.

"Kekeke," Homura chuckled. "Now I know where you are. It's time for some heavier artillery." Once again, her hands began to dance. However, it is a new rhythm and a new step that they are using. There are different hand-signals she gives which hint at a different Jutsu being used. When she is done weaving her signs, he leans back once more and builds the chakra in her stomach. The chakra comes out as flames, but it is not a regular giant fireball like last time. It is instead a large, round, dragon head-shaped flame that roars like a true beast as it is sent flying. Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique.

The dragon-head lands on the target, immediately combusting the wooden ship. The crewmembers try to put the fire out, but they are suddenly attacked by more of what Homura had spewed last time. She buries the pirates in Dragon Fire techniques, igniting so many fires that the entire ship looked like a roasting campfire. Soon the pirate ship would burn all of the crew members on it before it sunk deep into the ocean. Already the fire made the pirates give up their pursuit. Her job was finished.

Once she saw that the pirate's ship was starting to sink, she turned her gaze over to Mugetsu's side and wondered how he had done.

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

Post by Mugetsu Wed Aug 14, 2019 1:06 pm

Mugetsu was certain Homura could handle the ship as she said she would post able to so he turned around and didnt look anymore. Although ocassionally he would feel bursts of heated wind, he could only imagine what that ship was going through. "You wanted to know if I am from the Noblord Clan correct? Watch and see." Mugetsu was finally responding to Homura's question that had been cut short because of the arrival of their enemies. Mugetsu would not allow the boat to come any closer. I fact he would jump off his own boat and run towards the rogue pirate boat. Before they could prime the canons to fire at Mugetsu he was already on the ship. He would form two sets of hand signs as he stood in the center of the ship. "Room (Level One) and Rain of Slashes!" As Mugetsu stood on the boat he would call forth a dome of purple and pink space time chakra to completely engulf the entire boat. Moments later waves or crescent shaped chakra slashes would began falling from the sky cutting both through the boat and its occupants. Mugetsu was sure to angle the slashes through the area in which held the cannons. Several explosions would go off as the ship was sliced into pieces. Mugetsu before his ship was also engulfed in flames and sank would sprint back to his own boat before it sped off into the distance. "I would like to say that we have finally gotten rid of this this time but I wouldn't dare to think such a thing. We should at least be good until we leave this boat..." Mugetsu had grown to like Homura more in the past few days. He could see she held an appreciation for Jikukan and that was enough for Mugetsu to take an interest in them.

Mission: 4:

Homura gave a proper whistle as she watched Mugetsu finish off the last boat. She couldn't help feeling impressed at this older shinobi. His technique started the same, with him creating a portal that allowed rain to drop from the sky. The rain was violent for the ship, as it rocked the waters beneath it, causing waves that threatened to toss the vassal over. Though, it would not be the waves that destroyed the ship. Those were mere visual effects, from the looks of it. The real danger came when a spatial slash extended to the ship and it sliced through the haul of the wooden creation. Homura could only watch with awe as the vassal sunk into the ocean.

When Mugetsu returned to their ship, Homura gave him a thumbs up. "Kekeke, not badly done," she commented on his work. She could've personally destroyed the pirate ship without even leaving the boat, but she appreciated the fact that Mugetsu wasn't useless. This made their adventure go by ten times faster. She knew that there was probably still going to be a complication that would stop them from delivering the package. Though, at least now she understood that she had a trustful partner to deal with whatever was next with her. She just hoped that the complication wouldn't occur until the end of their trip.

Thankfully for Homura, for the next week, there seemed to be little issues. They rode along with the tides that carried them to the land of snow. The waters were calm until they got close enough to their destination. The weather seemingly changed from clear to cloudy, and snow began falling on the boat. Measures were taken to make sure that the ship didn't get covered with snow, with many of the workers swabbing the decks with warm water to melt the ice. Homura had never witnessed snow before, so she didn't understand how cold it was. When the first flakes began to fall, it was like she was a child in a toy factory. She had fun being out in the opened air and gathering as many snowdrops in her fingers as she could. Though, she quickly realized the pure evil of snow when she started shivering from the cool temperature. Growing up in the Land of Fire, Homura barely witnessed a spec of cold. Now, though, she was introduced to it very quickly, and very quickly did she grow to hate it.

Their ship docked at a port in the Land of Snow. They exited their vessel and continued on foot. They had to stop a bit to get Homura a jacket and some winter clothing. She couldn't stand the cold and was close to burning the entire land if she didn't get warm quickly. They continued their trip after they stopped. The Samurai was said to live deep within the mountain range. They followed the instructions to get to their house. After a long trek, they finally reached the Samurai.

The Samurai was an elder gentleman with white hair and a misshapen gray beared. His clothing was that of the regular robes that were worn in the Land of Snow. His home was very large and well kept, with many ornaments adorned on the shelves and walls that hinted at his wealth. The very minute they met the Samurai, he gave them a warm welcome and even had his servants make a meal for them. When they finished eating, they gave the Samurai his package. Their job was officially complete. Homura stepped out of the house and prepared to leave. Though, before Mugetsu could leave with her, the Samurai stopped him.

"Excuse me, young man," the Samurai spoke in his gruff voice. "I notice that you are a fine shinobi. I can tell that from your sturdy build and strong aura. If you don't mind? The gift that you have given me is from my grandaughter. She is a blacksmith from the land of fire. This was supposed to be her shining accomplishment- a katana with the power to change one's fate is what she called it. I would like to test this weapon out on you if you wouldn't mind."

He unpackaged the box and took out the sword. It was a finely made weapon with the cleanly and sharp appearance that could only be made from a skilled blacksmith. The Samurai brandished the weapon to Mugetsu and dropped low to a stance.

"Sadly, I believe in the ways of the old," the elder man stated. "When a samurai shows their blade to their enemy, they must already be prepared to kill them. I'm sorry young man, but facing me means risking death. Do you accept this challenge?"

We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura] Empty Re: We Going On A Trip [Missions- /O- Mugetsu and Homura]

It had seemed for once Mugetsu was wrong. No longer were there any shinobi following them. They were allowed to rest for the remainder of the boat ride. As they neared the port of the Land of Snow the cold and light substance would began falling from the sky. Snow began to cover the entire area and even wanted to claim the area in which the boat had taken up. From the snow and the drastically lower temperatures in the area it was made obvious that they had finally made it to the land of the snow. They of course had many obstacles during this missions but it was almost over. From the time they would leave the boat it was only a small travel until the reached the location of the Samurai's home.

As Mugetsu finally stepped off the boat he could feel the packed snow under his feet. It has been a strange feeling indeed. The snow of course had a solid form however, it felt as if the ground below them could disappear at any moment. For those who weren't used to it would seem to be such a strange surface to walk on. But Mugetsu could not dwell on such a thing it was time for him and Homura to finally drop of the package and make their long journey back home. As Mugetsu neared the home of the samurai he would feel something was off. There had been no obstacles since they got rid of those rogue pirate ships. This mission felt just as easy as it did when it first began.

That was enough to make Mugetsu keep his guard up, he to could feel something was coming. However, he did not know what or when it would arrive. The two of them had finally reached the home of the samurai. It was surely a grand structure but Mugetsu did no care about such things as architecture. However he was indeed interested in the man who had came to greet them. He was the samurai who had was to receive the package. The legendary warriors said to be able to rival ninja. Mugetsu wanted to know more things about the samurai but now was not an appropriate time. The elder samurai would invite them in and offer them a meal it was no reason for the pair of ninja to refuse. The two had not eaten since they left the boat, and the trek here had taken longer than expected so they both were hungry enough.

After they finished eating the man would collect the package. It was now time for Homura and Mugetsu to began their journey back home. They were both equally tired and needed a true rest. But just as they were going to step out the entrance of the mans home a voice would call out to them, in particular Mugetsu... "Interesting... I shall take you up on such an offer." This was Mugetsu's response to the mans words. It turns out that inside the package had been an extremely well crafted blade from the man's grand daughter. No matter if the man had the weapon or not, of course Mugetsu did not dare to back away from a direct challenge. In fact Mugetsu had wanted to learn what the Samurai were capable of. Mugetsu was guided to a large dojo in which they would fight. He was sure to tell Homura not interfere in the fight. Mugetsu knew exactly how to handle the situation. The man wanted a fight he would get one. As they stepped into the dojo the fight would immediately began. Mugetsu would quickly form a set of hand signs allowing him to surroung the entire dojo in a dome of chakra, "Room Level One." Before Mugetsu could make any further moves, the elder samurai would release a powerful vertical slash upon Mugetsu. It seemed the man did dare to give the ninja time to preform any of his techniques. But Mugetsu would expect as much and simply leaped back just before the blade would reach him. "Hmm you're better than I expected Samurai. Even with the increased speed of my room technique, I was barely able to dodge that attack."

As Mugetsu's feet firmly planted back on the ground a wound wound would appear down his face from his forehead to his chin. It seemed the assassin wasn't as fast as he thought. As blood would leak from the room he knew he could no long mess around. He was going to finish this as quickly as possible. Mugetsu would form hand signs as the samurai would make his move again. But this time the samurai had been too slow. Mugetsu was able to finish the signs just in time. A powerful and thick layer of chakra would cover his hands as the samurai approached. This time the samurai would lunge his blade forward attempting to stab his blade directly into Mugetsu's chest. Instead of leaping backwards, this time Mugetsu would run towards the attack. Just before the blade would connect, the assassin would spin and rotate his entire body to the right allowing the blade to slide directly past him. However Mugetsu did not leave the attack completely unscathed. The blade would pierce through his clothing and slice his left arm.

Blood visibly had flown from the arm of the ninja but that would not stop his own assault. As he slid past the blade he was no within the perfect range to attack the man point blank range. Mugetsu would first strike the side of the samurai's blade with his right hand still covered in a thick layer of a chakra. He would then spin his entire body once again to slam his left hand covered in the thick layer of chakra into the abdomen of the man at full force. "This match has been concluded." Mugetsu would say as the chakra that covered his hands spread to the man and the blade. Both the samurai and his sword would fly away from Mugetsu and slam into the wall. The blade would right to the right of Mugetsu and become stuck to the wall, while the samurai himself would be slammed into and stuck to the wall in front of Mugetsu, "Betrayal Level One." The samurai would continuously feel a pressure drawing him into the wall him unable to move excepted his defeat, "I lose you shall take my life.."

Mugetsu never do such a thing, in fact he never intended to kill that man. That was the custom of the man but it did not apply to a ninja. "I am going to spare you life. It would be a shame to take such a talent from the world. Further more imagine how sad your grand daughter would be if her grand father had been killed in a senseless man. It was not in my mission description do so such a thing so I wont." Mugetsu would say to the samurai. He knew the samurai could not refute his words. So he would simply nod to Mugetsu and closed his eye. Mugetsu did not deactivate the technique in fear that the man would strike again. He would simply leave the jutsu active well until him and Homura safely left the area and went home. It had been another mission complete.
