Milk and Cookies / Solo Mission

A beautiful day neared noon as Kira finished her morning work and debated where to go next. She could go out to lunch and return to get a head start on tomorrow, or she could try and be a ninja again? Staring briefly at her headband on an end table in the corner she sighed and wore the thing. She might as well try to do it again, not like it would end up going bad right? As she wandered the streets debating what establishment to frequent this day her gaze drew upon an older lady carry a heavy package. Kira was a ninja again; well she wasn’t one but mentally she was trying to be a ninja again. Naturally, she didn’t have to help, it wasn’t a mission to her knowledge, but if she didn’t then what was the point of wearing the symbol?

Approaching the older woman Kira asked if she needed help to which the grandma said she did, and thus Kira ended up carrying all of the heavy bags halfway across the village to the woman’s home and at the woman’s pace as well. it was decent exercise, and unexpectedly the woman paid her for the effort with a bit of money, and more importantly some cookies. If every mission gave her cookies, Kira could easily slip back into the ninja's mindset.
