History:(The history of this clan is largely misconstrued and misunderstood. Once upon a time, they were widely accepted as human. The origins of their people is assumed to come from Shikigakure, the peaceful village. The Chinoroi served as soldiers and medics for hire- until a bad case of vampirism broke out. Although eventually quelled, the Chinoroi were accused of being vampires and being responsible for the black plague. They were persecuted, hunted and murdered simply for having fangs.

Due to this KKG-hunt, the clan decided to scatter. In order to ensure the survival of their heritage and livelihood. No longer did they identify with their proud and lengthy lineage. They hid their identities and survived incognito for several generations. Only recently, has their bloodline resurfaced as a shinobi art and accepted as a KKG. Due to their scattering, Chinoroi clansmen can be found in any major village.)
Extra Info:(The clan is separated into 2 types of clansmen. Dormant and Active members. Dormant members serve as a blood source to sustain Active clansmen's blood. There is still much hatred for the Chinoroi, due to the misunderstanding of their bloodline.)
Appearance:(The appearance of these clansmen vary, as there are only minor details which link their appearances to their clan. Primarily, is their fangs. Sharp canine-like teeth in the top row of their teeth. These teeth are hollow, which allows the consumption & production of blood.)
KKG/Ability:(Cursed Blood: Despite the morbid name of the Chinoroi's KKG, the KKG is quite useful. The name itself comes from the drawbacks and dangers associated with the clan and its clansmen. The cla's KKG manifests in a specialized elemental release, which uses Suiton(Water release) as the basis. No other elemental combination is needed, as it is a stand-alone complex elemental manipulation of the KKG through manipulating the user's own blood and chakra. This is accomplished by the fundamentals of Water Release and mastery of their own body- as the body is comprised of over 70% water itself. This KKG allows the users of the clan the use of two effects. Blood Release and Blood Production.

The primary application of their KKG relies heavily on the members' fanged teeth. Blood can be absorbed, produced or expelled from these fangs- whether for feeding, or perfoming their clan's techniques. Despite not actually being vampires or sharing their weaknesses, rumors have cast a shadow over this clan- said to being vampires, or having birthed the curse of vampirism. Due to the method of their KKG and these nasty rumors, the clan is very persecuted and holds their KKG Release as secretive.

Various methods are used to mask how their KKG works. A most common practice is biting themselves somewhere, typically a hand or arm to visibly fool allies and enemies alike. The purpose is to misdirect the knowledge of the 'source' of their power. Due to methods such as this, it is widely assumed and accepted as a fact that their bloodline runs throughout their entire body and not just their fangs. There are 2 phases to the Chinoroi KKG. Dormant & Active.
Dormant: Dormant members of the clan do not suffer the serious drawbacks. However, neither do they benefit from the major aspects of the clan's KKG. Dormant members have access to Blood Release, but not Blood Production. They do not have the need to drink blood for survival- this state is most common to civilain clansmen, as well as children and elders who have not partaken in the act of consuming blood. Their use of Blood Release is quite limited, as they can only control sources of blood already expelled from bodies. The act of drinking blood forever changes them, activating the dormant parts of their KKG and becoming Active.
Active: The active state of the Chinoroi KKG is immediately effective once the user has consumed blood of another. Once active, they can no longer revert to the dormant state & from then on, require a constant source of blood consumption or they will die from a special sort of malnutrition even if they eat regular meals. Despite the drawback of the clan, the users with Active blood seem to never age. The rejuvenating properties of consuming blood, keep them vitalized, allowing them to live much longer and healthier lives. The average lifespan of this state is roughly 300 years. Their body changes very little during this period of time, giving them the false representation of immortality to others- as if time no longer touches their mortal bodies.

Due to the fact of their aging process, the act of consuming blood before pubescence is strictly prohibited and monitored. The act of consuming blood is a personal clan choice and also an age ceremony. Members are not allowed to consume blood before the age of twelves years however. This is to allow their bodies to fully mature before their aging process is halted. During the years to follow, slight changes may be seen, depending on the individual's need. Such as growing slightly taller or filling out their feminine figure. These changes are quite minimal.

Even though the clan's blood rejuvenates their bodies: blood also has a regenerative factor for Active-KKG members. Not Dormant-KKG users. Any non-fatal wound will progressively heal over time. The act of healing is passive over an extended period of time and isn't suitable for combat: as the healing isn't quick enough to heal during fast-paced battles. Instead, the passive ability draws upon the user's chakra pool, converting their chakra into blood and then transforms into specific genetic material to heal various wounds. Due to this ability, the clan has a form of conditional immortality. Up to their age restriction. The healing process itself will be registered in jutsu format & must be purchased once the Chinoroi's KKG becomes active.

  1. Users may drink blood of others & convert it to chakra. The average body possesses 5 liters. Consuming blood of others consumes 1 liter of blood per post. 1 liter of blood is then converted into 500 chakra pool(Not stat).
  2. A Chinoroi member may consume and store up to 10 extra liters of blood in their body, converting it into chakra and increasing their chakra reserves.(10 liters of absorbed blood gives an extra chakra pool of 5,000 chakra.)
  3. Consuming blood increases a Chinoroi's physical stats by 10%(No higher) for the duration until needing to feed again.
  4. Users may greatly reduce their bodily functions and appear as dead even to the most skilled medical shinobi- as their heart is essentially stopped. The process occurs since the Chinoroi can control their blood and doesn't need their heart to pump their blood. This can still be perceived as chakra from chakra seeing doujutsu or sensory abilities.

Blood Production- The fundamental use of the clan's KKG is the chakra conversion into blood. Very similar to how water can be converted from chakra, or drawn from the air. Although the latter isn't possible for the Chinoroi bloodline, as there isn't blood in the air. Given the different needs and uses of their blood release, the amount of blood produced varies greatly- very much dependent on the jutsu and chakra cost associated. The amount of blood produced depends solely on the "Range" stat of individual jutsu. The higher the range of blood related jutsu, the more blood is produced. As a general rule. One point in Range, is equivalent to one gallon of blood.
Blood Release- The clan's KKG element is advanced in the sense that it uses water release and chakra conversion to produce the blood.. but also for the fact that the final step is "Control". This control is known as the most practical application of their KKG. Blood Release. Through the control and manipulation of blood, they are capable of various unnatural feats. Such as using blood akin to water release, as well as hardening the iron in their blood to give the crimson liquid, a tangible form and sturdiness. Their control goes a step further, as they are capable of controlling any blood source, not just their own. It is important to note however: that the control and manipulation of blood, is only capable when already expelled from another source. Therefor, a Chinoroi member may not control and manipulate the blood inside another.

  1. Using blood in various jutsu also requires specific specializations, although the blood is more akin to the Kaguya clan's KKG than anything. Such as creating weapons from blood requires Bukijutsu.)

Drawbacks
Despite the many benefits of the clan's KKG, there are also drawbacks. These range in effect and stipulation, given certain conditions.

  1. Consuming blood comes with the chance of contamination, which can be particularly lethal to a Chinoroi. Consuming blood from contagions, poisons and other hazards will ruin their blood and can lead to death.
  2. Cannot have Limiteds.
  3. Once a Chinoroi's KKG becomes active, they must consume the blood of others to sustain their lifeforce. They feel hunger and thirst like normal humans, but they require the blood of others to provide their bodies with the rejuvenating properties. Failure to consume blood in the rime constraints, will result in their physical stats being reduced by 10%. Further lack of consuming blood will result in death. Death affects them differently, as those who have not passed normal human age limits, will simply die from apparent malnutrition. Members who are older than normal human lifespan, will have their bodies dry out and turn to dust.



  • Reduced Stats: A member with an Active-KKG must feed within 5 posts of every thread they enter. Failure to feed on 1 liter of blood, will result their stats being reduced and a ravenous hunger will take over.
  • Death: If the user has failed to feed within the first 5 posts of each thread, their stats will become weakened(from 10% to 20%). Once this has happened, they become ravenous with hunger. From this point, they have 3 more posts to feed on blood or else they will succumb to death. One liter of blood will reduce the effects to "Reduced stats" they they have passed the first 5 posts. An additional feeding is required to diminish the effects of reduced stats. Therefor, if they are close to death- it will require 2 full posts of feeding to return to full vitality.
