[CONQUEST] The Deadly Sin, Lust[Event][PLOT]

Unknown, out of sight and without knowledge of the shinobi world. A small island in the center of the map- a place that would later be known as Saiseishima or "Rebirth Island" began to stir after centuries of slumber. Ages ago, humankind had first stumbled upon this island by fishermen at sea. Their tales describe it as a large island completely enshrouded by what they could only guess as some kind of powerful barrier ninjutsu that circled around the whole island and extended into the sky as though the barrier itself was a pillar connected the heavens to the land. The ship of fishermen had been swallowed in a powerful storm suddenly out of nowhere and only a couple of the fishermen had survived the ordeal. Their wild tales were bewildering and frightening, but the masses of people dismissed them as mere fairy tails or mad ravings from elderly men. Fishermen wold large tales after all.

What had really happened off the shore of that island, wouldn't be revealed for many generations and only known by a handful of individuals. For the present however, something had disrupted the silence of this little island. Miles away from the shore of any continent, the powerful barrier surrounding Saiseishima flickered several times and then disappeared altogether for one whole night. By the time the next morning sun had risen in the sky, the barrier was restored and its pillar extended into the clouds once again.

This event unknown by mankind, was what ushered in the first catastrophe which would soon be known to mankind as "Bijuu" terrible monstrous creatures of logic-defying power. Maybe there were legends somewhere about such beasts, but in the current era, no such thing as a Bijuu had been seen, recorded or having told old stories to children to scare them at night. The first appearance of a Bijuu would stupify most of the shinobi world.

The first appearance

D2, commonly known as a part of the border between the villages Johogakure and Shikigakure. A relatively peaceful farmland with major roads used for travel to and from the villages. These two villages have shaared a fragile alliance for many generations. The neutral stance that Shikigakure has taken with Johogakure and Chozogakure's constant wars, was a welcome thing for Johogakure, which was located between the two villages. While Johogakure could sustain a war with one village, it couldn't hold its own borders against two such villages. As such, Johogakure eagerly agreed to Shikigakure's neutral stance in the wars and even overlooked the medical village's treatment of their shinobi as well as shinobi of Chozogakure.

Shikigakure had not known war or major violence in generations. They relied on their shinobi and their neighboring village Johogakure to protect their borders and traveling routes for their merchants. Yet it was one of these very routes, protected by both villages, where the catastrophe appeared.

The sky suddenly darkened, almost as black as night with the exception of the constant stream of lightning bolts from the gathered storm that stole the attention of everyone, farmer to innocent child alike. Heavy rain poured down from the sky as the lightning storm continued its own downpour for several long moments. Finally, all at once, the lightning bolts stretched across the sky as though it was a net cast to keep something at bay. From what could be called the center of the storm, the lightning bolt net deformed and slowly reached downward. Eyes watched with fearful anticipation as the yellow net eventually touched down onto the land, kissing it with death.

As it touched the ground, a wave of powerful chakra swelled up in the form of a many-petaled flower and then exploded violently, wiping away the life within several miles distance all around. The bright flash of the explosion could be seen in the sky from both Johogakure, as well as Shikigakure. Once the dust had settled, the only thing which stood alive in the impact zone was what appeared to be a large statue. Only it wasn't a statue, rather it was a quadruped beast with the upper half mostly humanoid. This became apparent after it began to move- slowly walking towards the nearest source of chakra. A small village just on the outside of the initial blast radius. With arms outstretched and its gaping maw wide, the creature would release a loud aggressive roar of rage as chakra began to gather in its mouth. The little village barely had enough time to send out two messenger birds- one to Johogakure and one to Shikigakure. Afterwards, the chakra amassed by the monster was released and erased the small village from existence in anther large explosion.

"A Bijuu has descended from the sky." was the message delivered.
