Catching a Thief ["Sigh" Another Solo]

She was known by many names. “The Crafty Queen”, “Soft Step Stealer”, “Rosy Robber”, and several others. And she was good at her craft. Her craft being thievery. This time, she had struck in the village of Chozogakure and word had reached Kioshi that she had been sighted in Shikigakure.
One thing had led to another and now he held a mission scroll that detailed her description and her whereabouts. As the classic thief would, she was hiding in a secluded area, in a cave within one of the forests around Shikigakure.
Even with the whereabouts, finding her was a chore. And twas a chore Kioshi was pretty okay with. Why? Because he got to quietly roam around the forest and look for this person.
Being alone with nature was one of his favorite things to do anyways. So this was a welcomed task.
He gathered necessary supplies and set off to camp in the forest and stake out until he finally found her and caught her so that she could be handed over to Chozogakure and subjected to their justice system. Whatever it was. Kioshi wasn’t really aware of the specifics of that village, so he didn’t know. It could mean death for her, but that wasn’t his business.
It took him half a day of tracking but he finally got the location and also managed to find the cave. Then he found a spot for himself atop a tree.
His task was to hide, so he couldn’t light a fire or make any sudden movements. Again, not something too difficult because he was used to sitting around and meditating. That’s what he did.
He didn’t search the cave because that could’ve spelled danger. He simply waited for an entire night and then almost an entire morning. Sure enough, she made her appearance.
From the luggage that she carried, it was clear that she had freed someone of their belongings yet again. She had to be stopped. Patiently, Kioshi waited for his perfect chance to strike.
Good things come to those who wait.
Kioshi was no exception to this. The chance did present itself but it took him an entire afternoon of waiting. She decided to relax under Kioshi’s tree and cook a meal for herself. He allowed her to gather the things and settle herself.
And then, like a viper attacking its prey, Kioshi struck.
He jumped from the tree and on top of her slamming her head, mercilessly on to the ground. It was a sudden and direct hit. That didn’t kill her but it definitely left a mark and left her unconscious. The rest of his work was pretty simple.
He tied her up and then brought her back to the authorities so that she could be handed over to Chozogakure.
Yet another mission for the quiet chuunin of Shikigakure.
