Appearance:Kuro Senju is more often than not, described as a handsome lad. He has short, white hair and vibrant blue eyes. He does not often smile, and when he does it is usually fake, but his true smile is actually quite wide and beautiful. His skin is a very fair Caucasian color, and is free of any scars or markings as he is just beginning on his shinobi journey. As far as clothing is concerned, he wears grey shinobi pants with purple sandals. His pants have his headband emblem attatched at the waist and off to the side. His shirt is loose fitting and colored white. Over this he wears a black coat that comes down to his knee level.

Personality:Kuro is a jovial youth whos idealism and powerful force of will define him as a shinobi. He will never give up on his mission, regardless of what it is. This stubbornness can be endearing for those who love him and an annoyance for those who despise him. His goals are to become as strong as he possibly can and to protect those he cares for. In general, he appears as a happy go lucky, kid who wants nothing more than to have a good time and make new friends. He enjoys training, but hates those who would abuse their power and put others down. When angered, he becomes more focused as opposed to less so. He will use his attacks much more efficiently and seems to strategize better overall, when he is pissed off. Otherwise, he tends to rush headfirst into the fray without much forethought, though he is known to come up with plans on the spot that aren't totally awful. He is afraid of losing those he cares for and this fear leads to him working extra hard in his training so that he never feels helpless when defending his precious people. He enjoys learning new skills and about different things, he can never stay focused on one thing over another though and has a very active mind. Always coming up with something new to work on.

History:Born to Jun and Harune Senju, Kuro was an only child, and as such, was slightly spoiled from a young age. He had almost everything he could ever want, and he received a fine education prior to joining the shinobi academy. His parents were simple civilians, leading a rather good life due to their work as a skilled craftsman and a baker, respectively. His father created some of the finest weapons in the land and his mother created the best pastries in the village. Their dealings in their business led to them having plenty of money to use for the benefit of their child, their greatest gift.

Upon his fifth birthday, Kuro had already made up his mind that he wanted to be one of the 'cool ninja' that ran around the village helping the citizens. So, his parents hired a tutor that could teach him the normal curriculum while also giving some beginner lessons to prepare him for the academy. It was around his tenth birthday that his father's business was overtaken by a mob boss who bought him out. He was unable to come up with the funding to buy his business back, so he enlisted the aid of some mercenaries to steal his business back.

This plan ultimately failed on him and the mob boss bribed the mercs to turn on poor Jun. He was killed in an extremely gruesome manner, right in front of his wife who was then taken advantage of. Luckily, Kuro was in his lessons at the time, so he did not have to bear witness to such things. Though, the trauma proved too much and his mother ended up taking her own life. But, not before asking his tutor to use any means necessary to protect him from the mob. So, he was placed in an orphanage in the middle of the village where he was able to grow normally.

Once he made it into the academy, thanks to his additional lessons early in his life, he took to it like a fish to water. He soaked up all the information that the teachers would share and then did his own studying to boot. He was absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of things that ninja could do and wanted to learn as much as he could about all that there was to know. His thirst for knowledge didn't stop as he graduated the academy, he now spends whatever time he isn't training, reading books on various things to sate his curiosity.
