Mission 1:

Homura didn't like doing pointless missions. Things that she felt the grunts could do, she hated. Sadly, she knew that she, herself, was a grunt. Just because she was a Chuunin didn't mean she was completely absolved from doing menial labor. Luckily, the mission she had today wasn't that menial. She was charged with chasing after a bird that escaped with valuable information. The flying creature was supposedly a messenger pigeon that was supposed to be carried off to shinobis stationed somewhere in the land of fire. Homura understood how vital this mission could be, so she was okay with doing it. Though, if the message was less important, Homura would have a few choice words to give to the shinobi who reside over the pigeons.

"Alright, let's get to chasing..." Homura discovered the bird almost immediately. It was last seen in a park with other pigeons, feasting on the bread that pedestrians tossed on the ground. She followed the leads she was given until she found it. Then she tried to catch it. The bird was incredibly hard to snag. It felt like the animal with the brain the size of a peanut could outsmart her somehow. Whenever she thought she was close enough to grab at the creature, it would pull some strange move to completely dodge her.

Homura had heard secrets about messenger birds and that they were secretly trained to avoid being caught by other shinobi. If a bird wasn't able to maneuver its way from the grasp of a ninja then they would be easy pickings for a shinobi seeking to learn village-secret information. So, it made sense that these things were a little hard to catch.

Though, after a while of chasing, Homura started to grow a bit tired. Merely running after it and hoping to catch it wouldn't lead to any success. She needed to lure it in and snag it while it wasn't thinking. She remembered how the bird had been attracted to bread before, and bought some from a nearby bakery. She held the bread in the air and waited for the pigeon to come. When the creature saw the bread, it immediately swooped down to her. She dropped some crumbs on the floor for the bird to pick up. And, when it was least expecting, she grabbed the pigeon with her hands.

"Gotcha, birdy!" she said with a bright smile.

Mission:

1 day later.

Twenty was the number of students that Homura had to face today. It was an interesting amount for her. She was never used to fighting against so many people. There was one point in time where she had to fight against an entire gang of boys who'd gotten on her last nerve. They had tried to take over the academy school and named themselves the "top dogs of the academy", but Homura wouldn't allow that. She defeated them immediately, earning the moniker "the furious flame" for how bad she pummeled them.

"Alright kids, listen up." Homura stood in front of the class of 20 students. For this fight, she had on some regular shorts and a sleeveless top. She didn't dress up much. She didn't expect that she would need to with the task set for her. "We're going to play a little game, you hear? Instead of fighting me 1 on 1, you're all going to come at me as a team. Your goal is to take this from me!" She held in her hand a tiny silver bell. She shook it a bit to hear it ring a beautiful melody. "The goal of this exercise is to make sure you guys learn a thing or two about teamwork, so be sure to work together."

A fun exercise was what Homura told the children she was going to give them. Little did they know, Homura was actually a very competitive girl. When the match began, she immediately started with one of her most strongest abilities:

The Sharingan.

"Oi, that's unfair!" One of the kids complained as they tried to attack Homura. They came at her 5 at a time. Some stayed back to watch her patterns- they were the smart ones- while others charged in automatically, attempting to strike at her without much thought- they were the dumb ones. Homura had fun with them all, however.

After an hour passed of Homura dodging, blocking and avoiding everything the kids could throw at her, the children decided to throw in the towel. Homura was the victor.

"Nyahahaha!" Homura gave a celebratory laugh. "You all are way too young to try and beat me just yet. Go back to your studies kids. When you get to my level of power, then you can try and face me again."

To a normal person, such an atrocious use of power on a bunch of kids would've probably left a bad taste in their mouth. To Homura? She was proud to have known that she taught a bunch of loudmouth children a lesson. And, with that mindset, she walked to the kage's office to turn in her missions report.

Mission 3:

After turning in her academy mission, Homura was suddenly given a new mission from her kage. There was apparently a group of people in one of Johogakure's living area that was causing a major ruckus. When she asked for more information on the matter, she was told that she would understand the situation once she got there. So, without knowing what exactly she was agreeing to, Homura accepted the mission.

When she finally arrived at the location her mission described, she didn't go two seconds without listening to two people argue. "This can't be it..." She followed the noise of the arguments until she came upon the source. A man and a woman were going at each other, both being as aggressive as they possibly could to the other. Homura could only stare blindly as she watched them rip into one another like wild animals. It made her surprised. She almost didn't want to get involved with these two, and probably would've ignored them completely if they hadn't first noticed her standing there and watching them.

"You're the shinobi we called for, right?!" they both asked her at the same time.

So apparently she was there to solve some domestic dispute. They had been arguing for a few days about something, in particular, having to do with the male being fired from his job. "Please kill me now," she said after hearing that information. The woman now thought that the man didn't provide enough for the house while the man thought she complained too much. Listening to them bicker like children made her slam her head into a pole over and over. Eventually, they stopped telling her what she needed to know to fix the situation but instead returned to arguing with each other.

"I can't possibly deal with this any longer." With that thought in mind, Homura decided to do the only thing she thought was best at that moment in time. She walked into the couple's house, gathered everything that belonged to the man and tossed it onto the street for any passing person to walk on. "From now and on, you're kicked out of the house until you can find yourself a job," she told the male.

Wiping her hands clean of the situation, she allowed the couple to decide what next to do and walked away as immediately as she could. "Please never let me have a mission like that again..."
