Appearance: Meiko looks like any other member of the Hyūga clan. She has beautiful pearly white eyes, long silky black hair that reaches her thighs, and porcelain skin. She is short and quite slender with curves in all of the right places, which could be used to her advantage if she wasn't so shy. Meiko typically wears white robes with black trim as she feels that it is most comfortable to both relax in and work in. She normally keeps her headband fastened to her upper arm at all times. (I know my FC isn't an exact representation of this but we can imagine her with porcelain skin and Byakugan Wink

Personality: Unlike most members of the Hyūga clan, Meiko is quite shy. She isn't filled with the pride and confidence that most members have, but she is still very close to most members of her clan and is very obedient. She doesn't hesitate to do what she is told and has a lot of respect for both higher-ranked shinobi and clansmen. Since Meiko is so close to the members of the clan she finds that she is not shy around them, she is able to be herself. Her shyness is only apparent when she is around those that are not members of her clan. When she becomes engaged in conversation with someone she has just met she becomes flustered. It's the reason why Meiko prefers to treat members of her clan or those who are unconscious. It takes Meiko a couple of encounters with a person for her to truly become comfortable around them.

So far only her clan members know how ambitious she is. Meiko desires to become one of the greatest Medical Ninja the world has ever seen. She wants to prove that a Medical Ninja can be just as strong as any other Shinobi. She feels that the other two villages see Med-Nin as nothing more than tools that are there to heal them after they've lost a battle. It is for that reason she took the role of Shinobi and decided not to work in the hospital for the rest of her life. Her desire to prove the power of herself and others like her is what fuels her when she trains and takes on missions.

History: Meiko Hyūga is the child of two very talented Shinobi. Her mother was a renowned Medical Ninja and her father teaches members of the Hyūga clan's famous taijutsu style. When she was young, she got almost everything she ever wanted which wasn't much. Her parents never had any insane expectations for her, they just wanted her to grow up and do something meaningful with her life. They could be strict when they wanted to be but other than that they were fairly lenient. She never really had to worry about being forced to become a Shinobi like most other Children. Growing up, she spent most of her time around members of the Hyūga clan and ignored almost everyone who wasn't a member of the clan. She didn't feel the need to communicate with those who weren't of her clan, she was satisfied only knowing Hyūga. They gave her everything that she needed and more.

Around the age of twelve years old, her mother died trying to save injured shinobi from the ongoing conflict between Johogakure and Chozogakure. Many members of the Hyūga clan believed that focusing solely on Medical Ninjutsu made her weak, that if she learned the Gentle Fist technique that she'd have survived. For two years Meiko battled the depression brought on by the death of her mother.

When she turned 14 she finally decided that she would do something with her life instead of sitting around mourning her mother. She was going to become a Shinobi who mainly specialized in Medical-Ninjutsu. Meiko wanted to prove to the Hyūga clan that the reason her mother died wasn't due to the fact that she was weak. It was merely because she risked her life to save those from another village. Meiko spent a year at the academy and graduated at the age of 15.
