Two Uchiha and a Terumi | B - Rank Mission Set

The Terumi Clan complex bustled with a renewed vigour as it's residents hastily made preparations for the upcoming annual clan meeting. With a month until it's arrival tensions within the clan appeared at an all-time high as a sense of fear crept into the backs of everyone's minds. Since she was just a small girl Tenri had frequented the clan's meetings alongside her parents so she understood the reason everyone was so on edge. Under the leadership of her foolish Father, clan meetings were no more than an excuse for the man and his accomplices to have their egos petted.

What was meant to be a gathering of kin to report their accomplishments or voice any difficulties they were struggling with, had instead become a festival where the greedy and higher classed within the Terumi were celebrated for how much income they'd brought to the clan. Those on the lower hierarchy of the clan had lost their voice and weren't even given the chance to attend the festival as her Father viewed them as inefficient cogs that made up the machine that was the Terumi Clan. Izu Terumi was the type of man to base his decisions around a single factor: Those who did not contribute we're no more than cattle to be herded and eventually slaughtered to feed those who can. It was a notion that more often than not nauseated the young blonde. Even with influences like those in her life Tenri believed differently to her Father and was thankful to her Grandmother who had restricted just how much brainwashing she'd had to endure from her Father.  

With the increase of missions lately, Tenri had been granted certain freedom from the responsibilities that plagued her at home. Small chances that allowed her to get away from the hustle and bustle of being the Clan Heads Daughter and leave behind any traces of rank. It was for this reason the young blonde had eagerly accepted a mission that had her accompanied by Homura and Rei, perhaps the only two Uchiha within Johogakure that the young Terumi did not hate. Homura was her childhood friend and so it only made sense that anything she did alongside her wild and adventurous rebel of a best friend would be fun. Rei, on the other hand, she'd only recently acquainted with and yet Tenri felt a connection with him due to the circumstances they both grew up with. It was hard living in the shadow of others but so too was it a nightmare to live up to the expectations of those who shadowed. It was a certain kind of struggle that few understood and only those with that had lived through the same upbringing as Rei and Tenri would understand.

Tenri awaited at the designated meeting spot that had been stated in the mission specs, a small food stall right at the edge of the village near the village gates. Inside a backpack, Tenri carried the package they were to escort to the client that was located in the land of snow. Tenri knew all 3 who were currently on the mission had already completed something similar so they knew what to expect. That made things somewhat easier. The only thing that made the young blonde slightly worry was the interaction that was to come between Homura and Rei. She was unsure if the two had previously met or knew each other or if they'd even get along. They were cousins, right? How bad could it be?.
