Mutiny. It was a word used to describe an open rebellion against one who held authority. It was one of the very first words Tenri had learned as a child and one that had repeated within her mind constantly since learning it. From the time she could form sentences Tenri knew the kind of man her Father was and as she aged the love she once held for the man dissipated and turned to hatred. Over the course of her upbringing the Important roles of both a Mother and Father figure were more often than not filled by a revolving door of tutors of some kind who cared very little for the emotional wellbeing of a child they were being paid to both baby sit and lecture. It was a life the young blonde had become accustomed, spending time with strangers who's greed were the sole reason they even noticed her presence. That was until one special and very different man. Yamakawa Matabei and her Grandmother Megumi Terumi, wife to the previous Clan Head.

To Tenri's eventual surprise her Grandmother had watched her young granddaughter grow up surrounded by an accumulation of strangers with a pang of pity and guilt for not coming to the rescue of her Granddaughter sooner and thus the old woman had started making preparations for her grandchild's eventual rebellion against her Father. It was her Grandmother who had set Tenri's Shinobi Career into motion and gave her the tools she'd need to eventually overthrow her Father. As a woman at a wise age and the Wife of the previous clan head and more hidden history and secrets than anyone knew Megumi helped her grandchild strive towards the goal of Clan Head. Like her granddaughter Megumi believed a woman needed no man to successfully rule over a people, all she needed was the wit and strength to stand tall alongside any man. They were once the ways of the old Terumi Clan dating back to the first Founder known as Ryuichi Terumi, Tenri's grandfathers eldest brother.

It was on the eve of Tenri's thirteenth birthday that the young blonde was introduced to the man who would change her life forever. Yamakawa Matabei had recently been hired by Megumi Terumi, Tenri's Grandmother and patron as Head of Staff at her estate, his skills and proficiency were well known within Johogakure's Social scene and it had almost been a bidding war for the mans employment after his previous Employer had passed away from old age. With luck on her side Grandmother Megumi had been the one to acquire his contract, a contract that would eventually fall into the lap of Tenri.
