The Crimson & The Gold VS Silver | Stage 3 Mission [Event] Empty Re: The Crimson & The Gold VS Silver | Stage 3 Mission [Event]

Post by Tenri Terumi Mon Sep 16, 2019 5:24 pm

The attack on Johogakure had escalated dramatically, Tenri could hear the echoes of battle from where she stood overlooking the fires and smoke that spread as far as her eyes could reach. For the moment only the sounds of battle were evident and so Tenri hoped this was a sign that the innocent civilians of Johogakure had returned to their homes safely. As much as she wished no harm came to her people, she was a realist and knew many would have lost their lives already due to the explosions and many enemies that had stormed the village. Fortunately Tenri wasn't so foolish to believe that the Johokage, Rei Kaguya had lost his life, she had seen enough of their Kage to know that he possessed a strength very few could attain. A simple bomb would not be enough to take his life. Then there was Makoto, the man who had been raised to the rank of Anbu Captain during the secret meeting where she had attained the Demonic being that now resided within her. If anyone had seen the ensuring terrorist attack that came it would have been him and his team of Anbu. More likely than not he had Rei somewhere in hiding as anymore needless destruction to the village on his part would not be the best example set by a Kage.

After protecting the civilians within the Market District and diverting them to the safety of the Terumi Compound the young blonde had made her way toward the highest point of the Village, no one could direct such a heavily prepared attack without having the visibility to watch their plans unfold. Tenri couldn't believe the massacre that had unfolded within her home village, Her country. Whoever had organised this attack would pay. Sure they had to simply subdue the leader but no one said anything about inflicting harm upon them. Oh, she would make the person responsible wish for their death once she was done with them, no one attacked Johogakure and got away with it.

As Tenri made her way through the Village a familiar sight would greet her in the form of Homura Uchiha. A smirk would cross her face at the appearance of her bestfriend, the young crimson eyes girl always made an appearance when Tenri needed her most, this it would seem, was no exception. "Homura!!! I'm so glad I found you! I'm heading to find the one named Silver. Apparently she's the brains behind these fools who thought it would be a smart idea to attack our home, its knowledge I obtained while protecting the Market District" Tenri would say halting her traversing of the many roofs around them. A glare of annoyance and hatred would fill Tenris eyes as she once more looked at the destruction of her Village. It could have been much worse if not for all the Shinobi who had defended their home but so much pain had already been inflicted, evident by the blood the blood scattered throughout the streets below. "I hope most of that blood is from the enemy and not our people.. I tried my hardest to save as many as I could from meeting their end" she'd add with a hint of sorrow.

The Crimson & The Gold VS Silver | Stage 3 Mission [Event] Empty Re: The Crimson & The Gold VS Silver | Stage 3 Mission [Event]

Post by Homura Uchiha Tue Sep 17, 2019 1:22 pm

The walk back to the hospital was a heavy one. Homura didn't know how weighty her father was until she carried him on her back. He was cumbersome. Her feet trudged the soil, leaving a thin trail line instead of a footprint because of his weight. Or, maybe it wasn't the weight of his body that made her feel heavy, but the weight of everything he held on his back. For so long Homura had never realized the responsibility Ryuunosuke Uchiha carried until he was gone.

He was the light of Johogakure. His legend lifted him high enough to a status that everyone respected. Even though there were times when she would argue against him, Homura looked up to her father. Now, who would she look up to? Who would make her smile from their goofy antics when she wanted to be angry and frown? Who would make scrambled eggs for her when she was hungry, only to realize that they sucked at making eggs and nearly burn down the house for it, which would make her annoyed yet laugh at the same time? Who would embrace her when she wanted to cry and let her know that everything would be alright? Who would call her name in a very special way, reminding her that she was their daughter and all of the love that they felt for her?

Who would do anything anymore like Ryuunosuke did?

When Homura made it to the opening of the hospital, her mother was the first person waiting for her. She saw Homura's eyes and the trail of blood that fell down her cheeks. "Homura, your eyes," she said, but she soon stopped from speaking entirely. Her lips were breathless. Homura gently placed her father on the ground and her mother collapsed beside him. "Oh no," she said weakly. "No, no. Not you. Not you!" Hayami Uchiha pressed her head into her dead husband's chest and began to weep.

For a while, Homura and Hayami sat there, watching the lifeless body of Ryuunosuke. Several times Homura wished that he would suddenly get up and look at both of them with his wide smile and reassure them that he was alright.

"I always knew that this would come," Homura heard her mother say. "He was always going out on dangerous missions and risking his life. Once when I was pregnant with you, I asked him if he could just quit... If he could walk away from being a shinobi and help me raise you... Help me raise our family. He didn't agree, of course. 'There is always going to be someone causing trouble, so there must be someone to stop them,' he had said to me. I then asked him why it had to be him, why couldn't it be someone else? He didn't answer back. He just looked at me and... And smiled... And that was the end of that."

Homura glanced at her mother. She had been watching her father for so long that she didn't pay much attention to around her. Her mother seemed just as lifeless, as if her father's death had drained her, but there was still a glimmer of life in her. There was still a bit of hope. Hayami's lips widened a little. "He always did that to us, didn't he?" she said. "He would always hide everything behind that smile of his. We never really knew him or what he always thought, but we knew that he had a pretty smile. Maybe... Maybe he did that to protect us."

Homura was quiet since the very beginning, not having anything to say. She didn't want her mother to see what she was thinking, so she hid most of her face behind her frilly black hair. There was nothing left for Homura to do here. After her mother finished speaking, she stood up and started to walk away.

"Where are you going?" Hayami asked her daughter.

Homura didn't stop or look back. She kept walking. "To kill someone who's causing trouble," was all she gave her mother before Homura broke off into a sprint.

She didn't know when it was that she started hopping from building to building. She didn't even realize that she was doing that. Her mind had only one focus, and that was to kill. She ran atop the roofs of Johogakure but stopped when she heard her name being called. It was Tenri who called her, but Homura didn't recognize it. As she landed on the same roof as Tenri, her hands went to her pocket. Her fingers grabbed ahold of the kunai inside and she looked at her best friend with eyes of pure vengeance.

Eyes that Homura had never shown before glared at Tenri. Her irises were red as always, but the tomoe changed shape to look more like embers of a flame. Her eyesockets also bled, making it appear as if she was crying blood. Homura caught only a bit of what her friend said. She understood only the things that were important.

"So the one in charge is named Silver... That's the person I have to kill." Homura was silent than her normal self. She was also more serious.

As the two shinobi stood in the middle of the half-destroyed city and talked with each other, a group of terrorists surrounded them. Homura noticed them, just as she was sure that Tenri did. They hid behind as much debris and building structures as they could, possibly hoping that they could get off a surprise attack. Homura and Tenri were both girls- who men seemed to underestimate because of that- so they likely thought that this would be an easy kill for them.

Homura didn't say anything to Tenri, but looked at where she knew most of the terrorists were hiding. She pressed her hands together and started to use handsigns. She only got to the third sign before she started feeling a throbbing in her eyes. "Aaagh" Homura painfully released as she bucked and dropped to her knees. That seemed like a signal to the terrorists, and they all suddenly jumped from their hiding spot together.

Five men, from the looks of it, all surrounded Homura and Tenri and pulled out their weapons. Several of them tossed kunais and knives after them while others fired arrows from their bows. Homura seemed to have been slowed from the pain in her eyes. In fact, she had moved her hand to cover them, thus she wasn't aware of the attack currently happening. It was up to Tenri to save her.

The Crimson & The Gold VS Silver | Stage 3 Mission [Event] Empty Re: The Crimson & The Gold VS Silver | Stage 3 Mission [Event]

Hatred. That was the emotion that raged behind the crimson eyes of her friend. It had taken Tenri by surprise the amount of pure hatred that consumed the irises of her best friend, the slightest hint of grief evident by the slight rings under Homura's eyes. Tenri allowed herself to meet the stare of her best friend, a hint of pain and sorrow behind her own eyes "Homura..". It was almost feral, as if the carefree and joyous Uchiha she knew had been replaced by a hollow shell whose mind lingered on a single thought. Revenge. Tenri was no fool when it came to the Uchiha Clan's history and the curse like effects their infamous sharingan eyes had on their clan. Hatred was a necessary fuel to further awaken their visual prowess and though she did not know to what extent or how exactly it played a role, she was aware of it nonetheless.

As if in confirmation the blonde Terumi watched as the black liquor of the tomoe pattern she'd become accustomed to transformed into a flame like shape she'd never witnessed before as blood dripped down her face as if they were tears. Whatever had transpired during the events of the day they had effected Homura and awakened something within her that sent a chill down Tenri's spine. This was a side of Homura she had never seen before and it made her wonder if her friend had either suppressed such feelings or they had been newly awakened. Whatever this was, she'd support her friend in whatever situation they were lead to, regardless of how much bloodlust emanated from the Uchiha. Tenri knew comforting her friend in this time would be wasted effort and energy they weren't afforded. As it stood the Village remained a battlezone until the one named Silver had been dismissed, Tenri only hoped Homura would allow them to capture the enemy as the mission demanded because by the look in her eye, killing was the only thing thing she intended on.

Tenri's golden locks flicked wildly in the wind as the presence of multiple enemies surrounded the female duo, their choice and skill of trying to conceal themselves an insult to their skills and prowess and Kunoichi. Casually the young blonde placed her back to the Uchiha as if to signal she had her friends back without alerting the enemy. Tenri had began the familiar movements of her hands to form the handseals for an offensive jutsu to take out the three enemies hiding behind debris before her while Homura focused on the enemies on the opposite side. What she hadn't accounted for was Homura's pain that seemed to hit her so fast that it surprised both herself and Homura. As if sensing Homura's moment of weakness the enemy attacked as multiple projectile weapons flew toward her best friend with the intent to injure and kill. Assessing the situation Tenri performed the handsigns for Rat → Dog → Tiger → Rat before slamming her palms to the earth and as if in response the earth shifted and transformed into a dome like shield that covered Homura's form precisely to protect her from the oncoming barrage of projectiles. Sparks would fly as the projectile weapons ricocheted off of the stone like shield with ease barely even causing a surface scratch.

With a slow gait Tenri's eyes turned upon the men, a look of pure rage burned behind her own crimson red eyes as her lips slowly released a displeased tsk sound. "Did your Mothers not teach you it's impolite to attack defenseless woman in dark alleyways. Perhaps you need a lesson in manners" the words would come as seductive whisper. Without giving them time to respond Tenri would perform the handseals for Tiger → Dog → Dragon → Ram before slamming both palms to the ground. Unlike the last time she'd used the technique the results were instant as a massive ruptured from the ground beneath the men, lava flowed in its liquid state incinerating and melting the men beyond recognition, leaving no evidence they'd even been there to begin with.

With the enemies dispatched and the geyser ceased Tenri quickly brought her attention back to Homura, concern and worry upon her face as she addressed her friend who remained in pain within the shield like earth dome. "Homura! Are you okay? You need to be smart about this and not push yourself too hard! I don't know what's going on with or how you came to possess those eyes but I know pushing your body like this isnt going to accompish anything" the last of her words would be no more than a whisper as Tenri bent down to place a hand upon her friend.
