Yuki Clan WiP

History:
The Yuki originally hail from The Land Of Snow having once been greatly revered and respected for their Ice Release KKG. Roughly 50 years ago wartimes crept to close leading to The Yuki quickly becoming feared and resented for the same thing that had once earned them reverence. Slowly forced from their ancestral homeland under often carried out threat of death The Yuki would eventually resettle in the Land Of Wind where Shikigakure would eventually form around a decade later.

Holding great skill in combat via their Ice Release and general history the road to adjusting to the more peaceful alliance they now hold has been difficult. Starting out as protectors for the more peaceful medical ninja overtime numerous Yuki member's took up medical ninjutsu alongside a more peaceful outlook. Sadly, this has led to a silent and very cold civil war breaking out among the clan itself. These days half the clan believes that embracing peace so much will melt them thus making the clan weak while the other half feels furthering their current path will only lead to greater strength within their new environment. However, in the end everyone within the clan follows the word of the clan's matriarch.

Hierarchy: For generations the Yuki Clan has been ruled by it's Matriarchal bloodline with the eldest daughter of each past head becoming the next head upon -. The current state of this portion of the article is vague and unfinished as another player had contacted me about wanting to play the next family heir.

Rituals:
Birth Right: When a new child is born the current matriarch will use their ice release to create an eternal snowflake which is than alongside similar eternal snowflakes from the direct family is fashioned into piece of jewelry. The piece of jewelry is granted to the child by the matriarch when the child is presented to the clan upon being able to sit up reliably. Most times the ceremony is hosted near dusk outdoors in formalwear an outdoor dinner with toast from the matriarch following the proceedings of child's introduction, grant of the jewelry, well wishes from the rest of the clan and gifts for the child.  

Coming Of Age: Most culture's have such celebrations for an age of maturity for The Yuki this is not a solid number but rather whenever a child learns how to use Ice Release properly. Held in the courtyard of the main family house between two sets of chairs is an isle covered in white flower petals which the child is led down by a parent to the matriarch who dumps a bucket of water on them after giving a small speech. The child uses their ice release to freeze the water into a shape of their choosing which the last child to undergo coming of age helps them make eternal, adding it to the many statues kept around the main house. Afterwards a massive party is thrown through the night.

Winter Festival: Originally called Snow Festival when the Wind Festival was created 30 years ago this one was renamed to reflect their long severed alliance to their old homeland. The entire day is devoted to yearly changing contests while the night is devoted to an outdoor formal picnic.

Wind Festival: Established 30 years ago to celebrate the new generation growing up in their new homeland. The Wind Festival is the least formal of The Yuki rituals essentially being one big forest outing where they paint kites to celebrate how they've grown since the year before and fly them to foster new growth. Some refuse to come due to disapproval with the direction the clan has been taking.

Appearance:The Yuki often have rather uniquely color hair/eyes which reflect the winter mostly coming in various shades of white, blue, and less frequently purple. It's also possible for a Yuki to appear completely 'normal' but this is excessively rare.




KKG/Ability:
Ice Release: Specific to The Yuki this is an advanced form of water and wind release which produces everything from snow to ice. What is produced can act much like normal snow/ice but The Yuki can also produce much more durable versions which are more resistant to heat than the normal variety even straight up to being able to make it 'eternal' via the use of a secret jutsu passed down through the clan.  Additionally the presence of someone capable of Ice Release lowers the temperature in the immediate vicinity meaning it is often snowing around them.
They take to Ninjutsu most easily starting with a skill point in one of the Ninjutsu types.
+50% to their chakra stat for use exclusively with Ice Release
Able to use one handed seals
